My kid accidentally bought coins while waiting for an update — I was tense, needed a refund for the surprise charge. Felt relief only when my bank reversed it, though support never answered.

I was halfway through uninstalling it when the payments kept showing up on my statement every two months. Since November 2024 I’ve been emailing to close my account and stop the charges — I removed the game because my tablet is too old to run it, so I asked them to delete the account. They only sent an auto-generated reply with a reference number and then nothing; no follow-up, no person. The app itself ran okay when it ran — a bit laggy and the touch controls felt fiddly on an older tablet — but that’s not the point. Dealing with the billing is what matters. My bank says a subscription pull is hard to cancel, so I’m trying to negotiate with them too. It’s frustrating and time-consuming; other companies sorted this faster. It’s disappointing, really, overall.

So, I had this really bad thing happen with my Star Stable account. Someone made a bunch of transactions on the same day without my say-so. Right away, I got in touch with customer support and also talked to Apple to sort it out. I showed them screenshots and explained everything, but I'm still waiting to get my money back. It's been pretty frustrating.
