Star Stable - Reviews and experiences

I came in halfway through a winter event, so I'm writing from that spot and not from the launch. I've been on this game for about four years and most sessions feel comfortable — the world moves at a steady pace, horses animate nicely and the riding controls are straightforward, so it actually feels like I'm doing something, not just tapping. First run I was booted from my account and told an update was needed, then couldn’t get back in for a while; that stuck with me. The winter village update also failed to load when I tried to go in, which was annoying. Support emailed back saying "it's a glitch" and to wait; it didn't fix itself quickly. The paywall is obvious — lots of neat areas and mounts behind membership or star coins. On the upside I bought lifetime Star Rider eventually and haven't regretted the extra access, that was a pleasant surprise.

The game takes forever to load on Wednesdays, and it's so annoying because I just want to play right away. They said they were going to fix it in February, but the problem is still happening. And on top of that, it's not fair that iOS users get all the perks while us Android users are left waiting.

Every time I try to log in to their app, it's such a pain! They keep saying my password is wrong, even though it's the same one that works on their website. They really need to fix their bug, it's frustrating.

This mobile app is such a disappointment, eh? When I heard they were updating it to work on iPhones and iPads, I got all excited, thinking maybe Android would be next. But nope, all we got was these awful characters in the app. They're all chubby, badly animated, and just plain ugly, eh? And let me tell you, getting a good-looking horse in this game takes forever. Ten weeks! That's like almost five whole months just wasted on one tiny part of the game, eh?
