Order of wrong-sized part
The customer service at Harfington was amazing, all thanks to Juan Wang who really went above and beyond to help me out with my order. I messed up at first by ordering the wrong size of a part I needed, but Juan was super quick to cancel the order even on a weekend and assisted me in placing a new one correctly. Then, when I was reordering, I forgot to pick the specific variation I needed. Luckily, there was a delay in processing the order which gave me a chance to fix my mistake. Juan not only fixed the order for me but also made sure the shipping was faster to make up for the delay. I was so impressed by Juan's dedication and how much they cared, especially since this was my first order and not a big purchase. But thanks to Juan's exceptional service, they have definitely gained a loyal customer in me.
Mending plates purchase
I had no trouble finding what I was looking for on the website for those mending plates I needed. The info given was good, but it would have been even better with a technical drawing for more clarity. The plates I got weren't as strong as I expected, so I had to figure out a different way to put things together. But that was on me, not the company. When I asked to return them, Harfington got back to me right away with a friendly email and took care of the refund quickly. Getting that kind of service makes me trust them, so I'll definitely think of them the next time I need a part.
First purchase, basic items
I just ordered some stuff from an online store for the first time to see how it goes. It was easy to place my order without any issues. The shipping was way faster than I expected and I liked getting updates on where my package was. It was really useful to know when it got handed over to a US carrier. The items showed up at my place in NY just ten days later. I was happy to see that everything I ordered was right and the quality was pretty good. Plus, the prices were way cheaper than a certain big online store. I'll definitely be ordering from this company again.
Online order customer service
Eh, so I had this problem with an online order, eh. I had to get in touch with customer service to fix it, eh. I messed up my order and had to reach out for help. The customer service agent I spoke with, Zoey, was super nice and understanding, eh. She not only fixed my problem, but also gave me a full refund and said I could keep the items as a gift, eh. I was totally blown away by how great the customer service was, eh.
Display box purchase
The display box I bought was the cheapest one I could find on the internet for its size. The case is really good quality, and I'm really happy with my purchase. Plus, I got a nice surprise with a glove and cloth for wiping to avoid fingerprints when putting it together and to keep it dust-free. The free shipping was also a nice bonus!
Free shipping issue
I recently bought something from this website and they said I could get free shipping for orders over a certain amount. But when I got to the last page to pay, they still made me pay $3.99 for shipping. I was let down because I wasn't expecting that extra charge since they said shipping was free.
Large order for thread rods
I recently bought a bunch of thread rods from this company. I decided to go with them because they said they could get the order to me pretty quick. Turns out, though, the stuff didn't show up until two weeks later than they said. That really stressed me out because I needed it for a project on a tight schedule. But I gotta give them credit, they were really sorry about the delay and got in touch with me right after their break. In the end, the stuff was in good shape and matched what I asked for. Lesson learned - things coming from far away can take longer, especially around holidays.
My recent purchase
I had a similar thing happen to me like another person who left a review. I had to contact the company about my order before I finally got it. After I wrote a review, the company got in touch with me and gave me an update on my order. I'm thankful for their response, but it would be nice if they kept us updated on shipping and gave us a tracking number to avoid more negative reviews down the road.
Metric/English ruler and drill bits
I just bought something from this store and, unluckily, I had some problems with one of the items I got. The metric/English ruler I bought had a big flaw - there was a gap at the start that made it hard to measure accurately. I had to fix it myself to make it usable, which was pretty disappointing. But on the bright side, the drill bits I got were good quality and did the job well. So, all in all, my experience with this order was a bit of a mix.
