Genetic testing kit
Genetic testing kit
App & PortalThe website layout and navigation over at FamilyTreeDNA was pretty confusing and a bit overwhelming for me, to be honest. I'm not too familiar with genealogy stuff, so I had a hard time figuring out how to find the information I needed. The website didn't have many features that were easy to use, which made the whole thing really frustrating. It might be a good idea for them to update their website to make it easier for all kinds of people to use, not just the pros. Since I had such a tough time getting around the site, I can't really say for sure how good their services are.
Genetic testing services
Genetic testing services
App & PortalAs a customer of this genetic testing service, I've been pretty happy with the info they give me. Before November 2019, I could easily bring in a GEDCOM file to make my Family Tree. But when they did the latest software update, I ran into some problems. The Support Group told me to wait for the end-of-the-month update and try again, and to export another GEDCOM file. But even after all that, they still haven't fixed the bug with my Family Tree, and the IT Department doesn't know when it'll be sorted out.
Password reset request
Password reset request
App & PortalI've been trying to reset my password for so long now, eh. Every time I give it a go, it just keeps going in circles, and I always end up back at square one. I tried to reset it a while back, and I'm still dealing with the same problem. It's so frustrating, and I can't believe such a simple issue hasn't been fixed yet, ya know?
