Layflat album purchase
Layflat album purchase
App & PortalThe experience with the company was pretty disappointing. The way the website looked and the customer service weren't that great. At first, I liked the different layout options for the layflat albums, but it got annoying when I was designing multiple albums. It was a pain that I couldn't repeat a spread just because I chose a different colour cover. The company said it was a "design" choice, but it just made things more frustrating for me. The final product's quality was similar to Milk Books albums, both of which use digital, 6-colour printing. But I found Milk Books' website easier to use and more intuitive. I did like that the company offered an 8.5 by 8.5 sizing option, unlike Milk Books' 8 by 8 option. When it comes down to it, choosing between the two websites might depend on pricing or any ongoing sales. Even with the frustrations, both companies are good options for those wanting high-quality albums. After getting the hang of the Artifact Uprising tool, I'd think about buying from them again if there was a good sale happening.

App & PortalThe printing and binding were okay for the price, but the editor interface was a disaster. It kept crashing, which made it a pain to put together my album. Trying to edit and format text on the cover was a nightmare. The digital proof they showed me before ordering was way off from what I actually got. And when I reached out for help, the customer service was pretty useless. I wouldn't suggest this site to anyone, to be honest.
