Clumpy and slimy purchase
I picked up this thing and it was all clumpy and slimy. It did the job alright, but man, it was gross. I doubt I'll be getting it again.
Mixed Berry Collagen Peptides
I just bought a tub of Mixed Berry Collagen Peptides and man, oh man, was I let down. The label said to mix it with cold liquid using a spoon, so I did just that. But, no matter how hard I tried, the collagen just wouldn't mix properly - gross gray bits at the top and bottom of the drink. I even gave it a good shake, but no luck. And let me tell you, when I took a sip, the smell was foul and the taste was even worse. It made me feel ill, and there was no way I could keep drinking it.
Collagen order delay
I recently bought some collagen products and honestly, it was a total letdown. I waited for my order for over two weeks and still nothing. I tried reaching out through email and calls to check on the status, but no one got back to me. Finally, when I managed to speak to someone online, I found out that one of the items I ordered was out of stock, and my whole order was just sitting there without anyone bothering to tell me. Can you believe it? They even charged my credit card for items they couldn't even send. I ended up having to cancel my order and ask for my money back. This whole thing really rubbed me the wrong way, so I'm gonna start looking for a different brand for my collagen stuff.
Monthly subscription through a third-party provider
I've been getting monthly deliveries from a third-party provider for a year now. But let me tell you, the box that came on 9/22/23 was a real letdown. It was all banged up and only had half the stuff inside. I tried reaching out to the company, who I think is the actual maker, but they don't do refunds or send replacements through Amazon. And trying to talk to them directly is like pulling teeth - their customer service line keeps me on hold forever and then just hangs up at 5 PM Central time. And to top it off, when I finally got to open the box, I found the product all slimy and yellowish, which is not a good sign.
Hair and nails supplements
I was a bit unsure about buying the hair and nails supplement after I saw some mixed reviews, but I figured I'd give it a shot. I placed my order on June 7th, and to my surprise, it arrived the very next day. I was impressed by how quickly it came and it totally exceeded my expectations. After using it for a little while, I can already see a big improvement in the health of my nails and hair. I'm really happy with the results so far and I plan to keep using this product.
Vital Proteins
So I bought this product that supposedly mixes well in both cold and hot water. But when I tried mixing it with cold water, it ended up clumping into this gross slime blob at the bottom of my glass. I tried everything to get it to mix, but it was a total fail. Pretty disappointing and not a pleasant experience at all.
