Cancelled order due to fraudulent charge
This website is just terrible, I swear. I was so excited to buy something, but then I saw this sketchy charge on my bank statement. They never even gave me a heads up about it! I only caught on when I saw all the random fees stacking up. Thank god I cancelled my order when I did.
Monthly Payment Issue
I just bought this thing that I gotta make monthly payments on. At the start, I was all pumped to get it and couldn't wait for it to arrive. But then, I started having problems with making the payments. Even though the website said they'd take out the whole amount each month, they didn't. When I finally got in touch with customer service, they told me not to worry and that they'd start taking the full amount out. But that never happened, and I kept having issues with my payments.
Gold card
I recently bought a gold card from OpenSky while I was on vacation in Florida. I signed up for the card and they sent it to me while I was still on vacation. But when I got home, five weeks later, I was totally surprised to see a $90 charge on my account, plus late fees and penalties. What really got me riled up was that the card hadn't even been activated yet, so it felt like I got ripped off. Definitely a case of buyer beware, that's for sure.
$600 Purchase
I had a $500 credit limit with them and decided to give them $600 in two weeks. Despite not even using the card, they still labeled me as a scammer. To make matters worse, after wiring $500 because they promised a higher credit limit, the money was still not available over a week later. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the lack of transparency and professionalism displayed by this company.
Metal dining chairs
Chairs came in fast and look really nice. They're decent quality for the price, nothing special but gets the job done. Putting them together was a bit of a chore, but nothing too complicated. They're not the comfiest chairs around, but I found some cushions that work perfectly. I do wish the back of the chairs was taller for better support. All in all, they're a good buy that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
Leggings purchase
I just bought some leggings from an online store, eh. I was pretty let down with what I got though. I ordered some black ones with white skulls, but instead got green leggings with totally different skulls on them. That definitely wasn't what I signed up for based on the website info. Feels like a case of false advertising, eh.
2 pair of overalls and a top
I just bought a pair of overalls, but now my order seems to be missing - can't find it anywhere. Checked the "Where's My Order" section, and it says I didn't even order anything. Can't seem to get any help. Still waiting on my second pair of overalls, but trying to talk to someone about it. Please make sure you know what you're talking about before replying. Thanks.
Overcharged Order
This company is a complete joke, eh? I can't believe the nerve of a supposed reputable company to overcharge me by such a ridiculous amount. Not only did they screw up my order, but they also charged me way more than they should have. And when I tried to get help, of course, their support email didn't even exist. How can they even function like this, eh? It's shameful. I'll do whatever it takes to get my money back and warn other customers to stay far away from this shady company.
Clothing purchase
I just bought some clothes from this online store and it was a total mess. They took my order, charged my card, then out of nowhere cancelled it with no reason. I tried getting answers from customer service, but got no response. The stuff I wanted is still on their site, so now I'm wondering if this whole operation is legit. Feels like they're more into getting my info and spamming me than actually delivering orders. My advice: stay away from OpenSky if you don't want to waste your time and money.
Wall clock
So I picked up this $100 wall clock, and wow, what a disaster! The package it came in looked like it got tossed by some kind of throwing pro. The face was smashed into a million bits. When I went to return it, the label they sent me was useless! Customer service told me the supplier had vanished and they couldn't help. So basically, I threw away $100 and now I'm stuck with a useless broken clock. Booo!
Topiary purchase
I recently bought a topiary from OpenSky and I gotta say, I'm super happy with it. The order came quick after I placed it, and the quality of the product was even better than I expected. The topiary is around 4ft tall with dense leaves wrapped around the central "branch". It fits right in with my other round topiaries and gives my deck a classy touch. Since my deck gets a lot of sun and heat all day, I can't have live potted plants out there, so these topiaries are the ideal alternative.
Credit card experience
This credit card was a disaster, eh. I signed up hoping to improve my credit, but it turned into a nightmare, I tell ya. I put in $300 to start, which was more than usual, thinking that was a good move. But even though I was making big payments every month, my balance just wouldn't go down. I was forking over nearly $100 every month for a measly $300 limit. And when I finally decided to ditch the card, they not only kept my $300, but also hit me with $100 in fees, can you believe it? This card won't help you rebuild credit at all; it just takes your dough without giving anything back. Just a heads up, the credit limit is based on your deposit, and they won't boost it.
Clothing items purchase
So, I made the mistake of ordering some clothes from OpenSky, and let me tell you, it was a total disaster. It took forever for my stuff to show up, and when it finally did, the quality was just terrible. The stitching was all wonky, the material felt like it came from the bargain bin, the sizes were all wrong, and some of the stuff didn't even look like what I saw online. It was just a huge waste of time and money. And to top it all off, when I tried to get a refund, their customer service was nowhere to be found. I had no choice but to cough up the cash to ship the stuff back to China and deal directly with the original sellers to get my money back. It was a total nightmare.
Outdoor gazebo purchase
The outdoor gazebo I bought from OpenSky got wrecked by some crazy weather only nine days after I put it together. But I gotta give props to the customer service I got from them, it was top-notch. As soon as I reached out to them, they were on it, handling things like pros and doing everything they could to help me out. I was really amazed by how far they went to make sure I was taken care of.
I bought some stuff
I picked up some neat stuff, but when I tried to return one item, they just said no without giving a heads-up. And to top it off, it wasn't even a final sale! That doesn't seem quite right to me!
Blender purchase
OpenSky was alright, I received my blender pretty fast. However, this Wolfgang Puck blender I bought isn't as good as I expected. It's remanufactured and you can totally tell. It's not as strong as my old one (RIP blender from the divorce). Also, it always smells like it's overheating whenever I use it. Not cool!
