Radisson Blu - Reviews and experiences

Eh, the hotel we stayed at was pretty average, nothing to write home about, but hey, London's expensive. What really ticked me off was how they held a $100 deposit on my credit card, even though I already paid for the room upfront. I had to wait a whole week after checking out to get it back - total bummer, eh?

So, I stayed at this hotel recently and let me tell you, the bar experience was not great. The hotel itself was nice - comfy rooms, friendly staff - but the bar service was a letdown. My buddy and I grabbed some snacks at the bar, and they were just meh in terms of quality. When it was time to settle the bill, there was a problem with the payment system. My card was declined on the POS machine, but the money was still taken from my account. The server tried to charge my card a bunch of times, but it kept getting declined on the POS, yet money kept disappearing from my account. After some back and forth with different POS machines and cards, I finally managed to make a successful payment. But, I'm still waiting to be reimbursed for those multiple declined charges that should never have come out of my account. When I mentioned this at check-out to the reception staff, they gave me the contact info for the food and bar manager. I've tried reaching out to him via email several times, but I haven't heard anything back about how they plan to fix this mess.
