Lounge experience at airport
The lounge I ended up using with my Priority Pass was at the airport. It was basically my only option, and there were a bunch of people waiting to get in. But hey, I managed to find a seat and chill out. Surprisingly, the food and vibe were on point, way better than I thought. I enjoyed kicking back there for a bit before my flight.
Priority Pass membership
I gotta say, I was a bit let down by Priority Pass. Don't get me wrong, the international lounges are top-notch, but there just aren't enough options in the US. Makes it kinda useless for flights within the country. And those dining reimbursements? It's a gamble depending on your credit card. Honestly, I only keep it around cause it's included with my card. Wouldn't fork out cash for it otherwise.

I'm honestly feeling pretty let down by how often I've been told that lounges are full and I have to pay extra to book for another time. That's not how it should work, you know? But on the bright side, gotta give credit to Plaza Premium lounges for always being welcoming to Priority Pass holders and delivering top-notch service.
My amazing Priority Pass experience
Oh my goodness, waiting at the airport with my mom felt like forever! But thankfully, she had this really neat pass that got us into a fancy lounge. We got to relax in comfy chairs, sip on our own wine, and munch on delicious food. It was such a great way to kill time at the airport, I wish we could do it every time we travel!

My time at the Priority Pass lounge was pretty good. The people at the entrance were nice and everything went smoothly. But it was really crowded inside and the staff kept changing, so they didn't know when my flight was boarding. It made me rush at the last minute to catch it.
Food selection was terrible
The food selection was just awful! The kitchen was so slow at refilling the food, and I even ended up burning my fingers on the hot/cold water tap. The waitress was friendly and tried to assist with toothpaste, but it didn't do much. I was in so much pain and discomfort during my 9+ hour flight back home. They seriously need to fix that water tap design right away!

This company really needs to do better when it comes to guaranteeing access to lounges. It's annoying to show up at a lounge and then get turned away because it's full. Some lounges let you pay extra for guaranteed entry, but not all. Priority Pass should have agreements with all lounge providers to make sure their customers can always get in.
Recent visit to airport lounge
The airport lounge experience at this location has gotten so much better since I was last here. The staff are always super nice and go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome and at ease during your visit. The lounge in Madrid has a really nice vibe - it's spacious, cozy, and gets lots of natural light. The food selection at the buffet is pretty awesome, with something for everyone's tastes and dietary needs. The staff are always on hand to help out and make sure you have a great time in the lounge. Overall, the airport lounge experience here is top-notch and perfect for travelers who expect nothing but the best.
