As a favor to a 73yr old friend, I searched for a flight from LA to Mexico city that landed in Mex around dinnertime. I found such a flight at a reasonable price the person could afford. When I clicked on the flight I didn't recognize that the Kiwi site changed the flight to one that landed at midnight and I completed the transaction. Within 5 minutes of completing the transaction I noticed the discrepancy and immediately cancelled the flight.
When I contacted Kiwi they claim the airline won't reimburse them therefore they will not reimburse me. The airline advised me that I have 24hrs to cancel any purchase for 100% reimbursement.
Kiwi is lying and stealing money from an aged traveler. Money they cannot afford to loose.
Don't purchase from Kiwi without reading all fine print. And even then, do not expect to get your money back. They are thieves!

easy booking, eventual full refund, decent support once escalated. Room for improvement: speed and clearer initial answers. Still, happy it wrapped up the right way.

So listen, my flight got cancelled and there was no other options. The airline gave the money back to Kiwi right away, but then Kiwi was all clueless for like 7 months before only giving me half of my money back. Their so-called guarantee was no help, and their insurance only covers medical stuff. If your flight ever gets cancelled, they'll for sure try to pull a fast one on you. Stay away from them at all costs!

Flights and luggage for multi-leg trip

My experience with this company was totally unacceptable. I booked flights and luggage for a trip from the UK to South America for two of us, knowing that flight times might change. But, they not only cancelled our checked baggage without asking us, they also changed a flight time by 6.5 hours without even talking to us first. Now, we can't add luggage for our trip and they won't give us a refund, just a lousy £10 credit. We're leaving in only 2 days with no luggage, and we can't book new flights because they won't fix their mistakes.
