Last-minute trip — needed a roomy car because my sore back and three noisy kids made public transit a no-go. Delivery arrived on time, pick-up/return were absurdly quick, and the team was super helpful. Kind of a relief, honestly; will book again.

Solid choice — I'd use them again. Booking was quick and pickup went smoothly; car was clean and roomy, kids sat fine. No surprise fees. I first saw them on a travel blog and a friend tipped me. Not flawless — minor scuff in trunk and the GPS was a bit off, but worked.

I was a bit iffy about booking — seen mixed reviews — but went ahead. At the airport the arranged shuttle took nearly an hour to show, so I got to the rental counter late and they said my reservation was cancelled. Took a few calls to sort a partial refund, and honestly that calmed me a bit. Still, delivery timing was poor.

Bought a car rental that looked cheap on Enjoy Travel — roughly €60 for four days, I told a friend the bargain flying to Madeira. At the airport Gold Car asked for just over €250 deposit despite me having private excess cover. Felt awkward, declined and took a taxi instead. Messy experience, I emailed Enjoy Travel but haven't heard back. Price looked great but the pick-up was a nightmare.

I flew into Stansted and at first it was a mess — I paid online and didn’t get a confirmation, called and was told there was no booking. I was honestly ready to give up and use another company (had rough experiences before), but after a follow-up call someone at EnjoyTravel actually found my payment, sorted a reservation and even bumped me into a slightly nicer car. That was the moment I knew I was okay. Small hiccups, yes, but the surprise refund/upgrade and a friendly, polite rep — which I didn’t expect — left me happy.

Small gripe: the insurance forms took a bit longer than I hoped, a line or two less waiting would be nice. But the drive itself was calm, drop-off was smooth, and by Sunday evening I felt genuinely glad I'd gone with them. So yeah, I'd book again.

30 pm. They squeezed us in. Rude to say, but that small company saved our holiday. They charged three times the price, yes, but they were honest and helpful when Enjoy Travel failed.
I tipped my sister later about that local shop because you should know where to go if a big company flakes. Overall, I won't use Enjoy Travel again. Service was weak, communication worse. The one surprise was how a tiny local firm stepped up when the big one didn't.
