Trip to North India - Be Prepared!
TransportI recently went on a trip to North India and overall, it was pretty cool. I paid for a side trip to Varanasi, but we ended up spending way less time there than I thought because of the flights we chose, which was a total bummer. Also, we left much later in the evening than I expected, so we could have had more time exploring. Then, we departed for Delhi super early in the morning, around 8am, and ended up waiting for like 8 to 10 hours at the international airport for our flights back to Australia. It was so boring. Some of the hotels were pretty old and needed some fixing up, definitely not what I would call 4-star. And the bus transport was just awful - uncomfortable, rattled, bad suspension, and those old style windows were just not great. It was not a fun ride at all.
