Market epiphany

Halfway through the old market I remembered I'd almost not booked — worried it'd be cheesy. Amrish's stories and quiet humility won me over, honestly glad I took the chance.

Dessert detour with Touqeer

Saw the dessert safari on a café poster, dragged the family. Touqeer was calm, a bit funny — I knew I was happy when samples made everyone hush. Small flaws.

Skeptic turned fan

Wasn’t sure at first—had a rough trip before and my back was acting up, so I needed an easy-paced guide. That dinner with locals? Right then I relaxed and smiled.

Quiet spots won me over

Right in the middle of the ride I remembered doubting the booking — after a rough dune run with another company I wasn't sure. Those doubts melted away; Tourqee found quiet spots and kept it calm.

Midday relief

By the time we were halfway through the route I realized our driver-guide, Zayed Ali, kept things simple and efficient. A friend recommended him. He parked as close as possible, spoke plainly about sites and made moving between stops easy, so I was relieved.

Slow to trust, great outcome

Worth it — I was skeptical at first. We needed a guide for our first UAE trip and for my partner's history project. He knew the culture, drove safely, took really good photos, and added life lessons.

Packed, punctual and chill

totally worth it, trip ran like clockwork. I found Rayna after a coworker recommended them, and from day one the schedule, info and support felt solid. Our guide, Amrish, was calm, funny and clearly knew his stuff — made the trip relaxed and memorable, so thanks.

A solid, low-drama Abu Dhabi day
7 reviews
mosque, Louvre, palace, F1 track, heritage village and a bazaar. What surprised me was how measured the pace was; we actually had time at a few spots and he took decent photos, no rush. He also stopped at a small shop with authentic Arabic scents that I didn't expect to like but did. My doubts about the company being another tourist factory mostly faded. Not flawless — a bit of back-and-forth on timing — but overall solid and worth it.

Smooth and reliable

Totally worth it — I was wary at first but ended up really happy. A friend in Toronto tipped me and Vijay Yash from Pune handled the deal, got a solid price. WhatsApp updates kept me in the loop, drivers were easy to chat with and cars were tidy. Would recommend to others next time, for sure.

Weekend dash, mixed feelings
4 reviews
I booked this two-day Dubai–Abu Dhabi run to see lots in short time, and it worked better than expected. The guide knew the spots, picked restaurants we wanted and explained things without being pushy. Felt a bit packed — we were on the move a lot — but when I need a quick getaway from weekly grind with my partner it's perfect. Friendly, professional, could use more chill time.

Good day, a few bumps
9 reviews
I took the city tour late August and right away you notice the mix — promising service but a couple of hiccups. Booking was a bit fiddly on the site, confirmation came through but not super clear. Pickup was about 20 minutes late, which annoyed us at first, but the guide made up for it. He was patient, knew the stories, and kept offering water and snacks in the midday heat — small things that matter. He also took decent photos for the group, nothing staged, just helpful. Delivery of the actual tour content was solid, routes on time after that first delay. Customer service by the guide was really the highlight; the company’s admin could be smoother. Overall glad we went, felt safe and well looked-after, just wish the pre-trip info and pickup ran a bit cleaner.

Desert doubts and last-minute surprises

prices that sounded almost too good, a WhatsApp thread that moved faster on payment than on answers — classic red flags, right? Still, I thought: okay, it’s Dubai, how bad could it be?
Turns out, not great. Yuvraj (a travel consultant, he said) replied nicely and quoted 180 AED per person for the Premium Safari and mentioned ATV rides at about 120–140 AED for 30 minutes. Nine of us weren’t sure who’d go on the ATVs, so I asked if we could book them once we were at the site. He said yes. That little confirmation is what made me go ahead and pay — I trusted the message thread. Naive, maybe.
Fast forward to the ATV area and the cheerful drivers lead us to a little shop where the same activity is suddenly 500 AED. Phone calls to Yuvraj? “Can’t reach him.” Showing the message screenshot? “Not our employee, must be an agent.” Even the booking email, which looked like it came from Rayna, didn’t help. At that moment my scepticism didn’t just linger — it flicked on a beacon. I messaged Yuvraj again; he said he’d look into it. That was in July. Still waiting. Meanwhile, payment for the Safari had been taken without drama or delay. Funny how that works.
We did get some of what we’d hoped for: dune bashing was actually wild and the sunset photos were pretty great — those are honestly the bits I kept replaying on the plane home. But the rest felt rushed or skipped. Camel ride was hurried, sand boarding never happened, ATVs were completely off the table unless we paid quadruple. The vehicle carrying our kids had a driver who seemed to think the dunes were a good place to catch up on WhatsApp. Texting while driving over sand? Not reassuring, and yes, I called that out.
What made it sting was the contrast: friends who booked through Expedia with another operator paid less and got everything — sand surfing, ATVs, relaxed camel time. It’s hard not to compare when you’re standing in the sand. Back home, I emailed their feedback address and got an automatic reply claiming complaints are a priority. Two weeks later: silence. It’s the “we’ll investigate” that never investigates that bothers me more than the price hike.
So did my doubts disappear? Partially. The sunset, dune bashing thrill and the general festival vibe made bits of the night worth it, so I didn’t go home completely sour. But the mismatch between what was promised on WhatsApp and what they actually delivered, plus the radio silence afterward, left a bad aftertaste. If you’re thinking of booking with Rayna Tours: double-check everything, take screenshots (you’ll be glad you did), and maybe have a backup provider in mind. I wanted to trust them; I tried. Next time I’ll be more suspicious up front.

Half convinced, then a small relief
5 reviews
I actually heard about them from a friend who used them last month, so I messaged on WhatsApp to sort a 30‑day tourist visa. First exchange was messy — I asked if insurance was required and got a price for a 14‑day visa instead (475 AED), which didn’t match the 400 AED listed on their site for 30 days. I kept pushing and, honestly, expected more silence or another vague answer. The moment I felt satisfied was when someone finally sent a short, plain breakdown explaining that the higher number was for assisted processing and included extra steps (and yes, insurance was optional). Not perfect, but that clear note cut through the confusion — surprised me, actually. Still annoyed at the initial poor WhatsApp back‑and‑forth and the lack of transparency up front, so I didn’t book right away, but at least I wasn’t left guessing. If you try them, press for a written cost breakdown — it made all the difference for me.

That moment it clicked

Halfway through the desert safari I remember leaning back and thinking, wow — this is actually working out. The moment came when they swapped my itinerary without drama after I messaged about a timing clash; suddenly everything fit. Yash (big thanks) and the Rayna crew had already sorted the boring but essential parts—visa checks, hotel pickups, confirmed tickets—so I could just enjoy the dune run and the skyline bits. They kept me updated in a casual way (sometimes more than needed, not a complaint), and replies were quick when I had odd questions.
The dhow cruise was chill, the city tour hit the spots I wanted, and transfers showed up on time which made mornings less frantic. I changed a couple activities mid-trip and they adjusted without fuss — that’s when I relaxed for real. If you go, maybe double-check pick-up times once, just to sleep easier. I'm pleasantly surprised and grateful the whole thing ran smooth; felt taken care of. Would recommend to anyone who wants organized days without micromanaging.

Abu Dhabi tour with a cool guide

The guide, Junaid Nawazish, was so friendly and knew everything about Abu Dhabi. We got to see the Emirates Palace and Louvre Abu Dhabi, and it was amazing. Junaid really made the tour enjoyable for couples, adding that extra touch of romance and fun. It's a perfect mix of culture and romance!
