National Geographic safari trip South Africa to Victoria Falls
This trip was absolutely amazing, a once-in-a-lifetime experience for sure. The safaris in Karongwe Private Game Reserve were just incredible. Our guide, Evans, and tracker, Sunti, really went above and beyond to show us the wildlife in ways I never thought possible. We got so close to elephants, saw a cheetah up close in the forest, watched lions doing their thing, and even saw a lioness playing with her cubs. It was all so memorable. Our CEOs, especially Chris on the second part of the trip, were really knowledgeable and made the experience even better. The only downside was feeling a bit caught off guard by all the tipping pressure during the trip. I wish the company had given us more info on how much to budget for tipping. But overall, the trip was beyond amazing and I would totally book with them again without hesitation. Capetown was stunning and Victoria Falls just took my breath away. I'd highly recommend it.
Great value trip
What an incredible experience we had with such friendly people and amazing accommodations. Our guide Marco was so accommodating and knew so much, which really made our trip enjoyable. The only downside was how exhausting the journey to get there was.
Southeast Asia 29-day tour
Just finished a 29-day tour of Southeast Asia and it was incredible! Our tour leader was amazing, always making sure we were well taken care of and having a blast. The activities were fantastic, from cooking classes to kayaking and everything in between. We really got a taste of each country we visited and the local guides gave us some great insight. This trip was a whirlwind of adventure and cultural immersion that I will always remember. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to fully experience Southeast Asia.
Travel Experience in South Africa and Victoria Falls
So, like, this was our first time going on a tour and let me tell you, it was absolutely incredible. We spent 12 days exploring South Africa and Victoria Falls, and the whole experience was just mind-blowing. We saw all the best stuff, stayed in amazing places, took awesome tours, and really got a taste of the local culture. It was jam-packed with fun stuff, but not too overwhelming, you know? Our group was small, only 11 of us, and we all hit it off great thanks to our awesome CEO. She knew her stuff, was super friendly, and seriously went above and beyond to make sure we had an awesome time. Honestly, this trip was unreal and I totally recommend it to anyone thinking about doing it.
Six G Adventures trips
I've gone on six trips with this company and I gotta say, I've loved every single one. The guides have always been super smart and I really liked having local guides in big cities. Every trip has felt real and I've enjoyed being in a small group. There were a couple times where I didn't really connect with everyone in the group, but I just did my own thing. In general, I totally suggest this company if you want a touristy but authentic experience.
G Adventures tour
Alber Samuel was really great - super friendly, organized, and just a nice guy overall. He made sure we stayed on schedule and didn't miss out on anything during the tour. He had so much knowledge about Egypt, and he made us feel like we were old pals from the get-go.
India and Nepal travel experience
Our trip to India and Nepal with this company was alright. The CEO gave us some information when we asked, but it was pretty basic, especially in Nepal where we thought we could have learned more about the culture. One big problem we had was with how tips were handled by the CEO. We chose not to join the tipping kitty so we could tip based on our own judgment, but the CEO insisted we give the driver 2000 rupees in both countries. That's $20 for 4 days of service in each country, which felt like a lot to us. It made us feel uneasy, like we were paying the driver and helper's wages on top of the tour costs. The extra activities weren't included in the package, and the hotels we stayed in weren't great. For a little more money, we thought we could have stayed in better places.
Epic Southeast Asia tour
Just got back from this amazing adventure in Southeast Asia and wow, it was absolutely mind-blowing! The landscapes were breathtaking and the cultural experiences were unforgettable. Our CEO was fantastic, making sure we had the time of our lives and sharing so much interesting information with us. Looking forward to booking with you again real soon!
Beautiful hikes in Madeira
It was my first adventure tour and it went above and beyond what I was expecting. The guide was amazing, the group was awesome, and the hikes were absolutely stunning. The level of difficulty was perfect for me, and I had a fantastic time exploring Madeira on foot.
Travel experience with G Adventures
I just got back from going on three amazing trips with a popular travel company. We explored the fascinating cultures in India, Cambodia, and Laos. It was a real rollercoaster of emotions, with some destinations being better than others.
One week tour Malaysia and Borneo
I just got back from this awesome one-week trip to Malaysia and Borneo. Let me tell you, it was amazing! Our guide, EJ, was so great - super smart and made sure everything went off without a hitch. We got to check out some cool islands, see orangutans and sun bears in their natural habitat, and do a ton of other cool stuff. If you're looking for an adventure you'll never forget, definitely give this trip a try.
Southeast Asia trip
My recent trip to Southeast Asia was amazing, eh. The schedule was well thought out, with just the right mix of cultural immersion and fun stuff to do. Our guide, Ratha Van, knew a ton and really made the trip extra special. I wish I could go back and do it all over again, no doubt. Also, I was impressed to find out the company helps out small communities and families and kids in need. All in all, I totally suggest this trip to anyone wanting an unforgettable adventure, for sure.
Beijing to Mt. Fuji trip with travel company
I recently went on a trip from Beijing to Mt. Fuji with a travel company, and I gotta say, it was a pretty good experience overall. The China portion of the trip was enjoyable, and that's mainly thanks to our guide Howard who was really on the ball. The only downside was that there were more people on the tour than they said there would be, so the buses felt pretty cramped, especially for the larger folks in the group.
When we got to Japan, though, things took a bit of a nosedive because our guide there wasn't so great. Still, the hotels and schedule were top-notch in both countries. Oh, and a heads up - be prepared to do a ton of walking on this trip. One day, I hit 19,000 steps!Exciting adventure experience
Recently, I went on this adventure trip that felt like a dream come true. It lasted a whole week and was all about exploring and feeling amazed. The places we stayed in were so comfy, and the activities planned were just perfect - no room for letdowns. Gotta give a shoutout to our tour guide, their knowledge and energy really made the trip awesome. Every day felt like a new exciting part of a story playing out right in front of us.
Amazing Antarctica trip
My trip to Antarctica was absolutely incredible, eh! The staff were so friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond. The scientists on board were so enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge, it was truly inspiring. As a 70-year-old solo traveler, this was hands down the best experience of my life. I can't even begin to explain how amazing it was. I'd give it a perfect 10 out of 10 without even thinking twice. If you have a passion for Antarctica, you definitely need to go with this company. The kayaking and camping on the ice were absolutely breathtaking experiences, eh!
Disappointing sailing trip
The sailing trip around the islands was kind of disappointing, to be honest. The boat was having a bunch of issues that took away from the whole experience. The guide was alright at organizing things, but they didn't really know much about the animals and plants in the area, so it made the journey less interesting. It would've been nice to have some info sheets on board to help us identify what we were seeing. And it felt like the crew was more focused on making money than making sure we had a great time. I used to be a skipper, and I wouldn't feel right running a boat in that condition.
But, on the bright side, the chef on board was amazing! They made some really delicious meals for us during the trip.Central American Trip
I absolutely loved my first solo travel experience with a guided tour! The tour guide was fantastic - took care of all the details, and made sure we had a great mix of cultural and outdoor experiences. We had just enough free time to explore on our own. The accommodations were clean and comfy. My favorite parts were visiting Tikal, going snorkeling, cave tubing, and biking. I can't wait to travel with this company again!
Inca Trail trek
The Inca Trail trek we did in March was absolutely amazing! It was such an adventure packed with history, culture, and stunning views. Honestly, no words or photos can really do justice to how beautiful and important the whole experience was. The Porters were incredible - hauling heavy stuff to make sure we were safe, comfy, and cared for. I was seriously impressed by how hardworking and strong they were, but I bet they'd appreciate lighter loads and some walking poles. Big shoutout to our guides Richie and Paulo for keeping us motivated and sharing their wisdom. The memories we made on this journey are truly priceless.
15-day adventure with great activities
My time with the group in Peru was amazing! We saw so many cool things and stayed in really nice places (except for one). Every morning we enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast. We did fun activities like cooking, tasting pisco, exploring potato parks, and going on boat tours. It was great that we took two flights instead of a long drive. Mary Chu, our leader, was fantastic and made everything so smooth for us.
Bali, Lombok & Gili Islands 2-week tour
My buddy and I went on the most awesome adventure! We had this amazing guide named Budi who was like the ultimate travel companion. He knew so much and was always there to help us out. We did all the fun activities and had a blast. I definitely suggest going on this adventure if you want to have a good time and stay in some cool hotels that aren't dull. And on top of that, it was a really great deal for the price.
