Video hosting platform experience
Video hosting platform experience
PriceI've been using this video hosting platform for a while now and honestly, it's not what it used to be. I find it really frustrating how they keep asking for more money all the time. One day, out of nowhere, they said my subscription was expired even though I pay every month. This meant my clients couldn't access any videos for two months and they didn't even bother to warn me or say sorry. The service is just horrible, with things changing all the time without any heads up, making it hard to keep up.
Payment issues with Vimeo
Payment issues with Vimeo
PriceIt's really annoying, eh, dealing with payment problems on Vimeo, eh? I've been able to pay for VOD's for years with no issues using the same info, but now it's acting up. I tried making a new account and using a different browser, but still no luck with the payment info. It's worrisome, especially since the payment info works fine on other websites and vendors I've used. The drop in service quality lately is disappointing, eh? It's a shame that editors and video creators might have to find another platform to post their content.
My sign-up experience
My sign-up experience
PriceI signed up for a free trial, and all of a sudden, they were trying to swipe a lot of money from my account! The cost was way too steep, even pricier than signing up for a full year straight up. It seemed like they were trying to pull a fast one on people, getting them to pay for a whole year without them even knowing. Not cool at all!
Paid plans experience
Paid plans experience
PriceI've noticed that a lot of my friends who've signed up for paid subscriptions on some video streaming services have run into some problems. One big issue is the high prices, which can be tough for people on a budget. Like, one guy I know was pretty surprised when he found out that upgrading his plan would cost him thousands of dollars per year, which he thought was way too expensive. And my friend was really upset when she paid for a yearly premium subscription, only to have her account suddenly deleted with no warning or chance to fix things. This lack of transparency and accountability is worrying and makes me wonder about how honest and helpful the platform really is.
Monthly subscription fee
Monthly subscription fee
PriceHey folks, for real, avoid using this service! I thought I was signing up for a monthly subscription of 10 euros, but it was a total disaster. The service is really confusing, and when I tried to cancel, I couldn't find any billing info on the app. I had to email customer service to stop the payments, but they didn't get back to me in time. Next thing I know, 119.04 euros disappeared from my account! They had actually signed me up for a whole year, not just a month. I've been trying to get my money back, but no luck so far. This feels like legal theft, not cool at all. Stay clear of this service unless you want to be scammed like me!
About vimeo

It's known for its supportive community and emphasis on high-quality, creative video content, rather than user-generated viral videos. Over the years, Vimeo has expanded its services to include subscription-based plans offering more storage, advanced tools, and video customization options, catering to a wide range of video creators from independent filmmakers to large enterprises.
