Video platform subscription
Video platform subscription
CommunicationI got a subscription to a video platform and, man, it's been a real headache dealing with their player. It's causing some serious problems for our business, and even after reaching out a bunch of times, we haven't heard anything back. Ended up moving all our videos to a different platform. What a hassle!
Bad customer service
Bad customer service
CommunicationThe customer service at this place is terrible, eh. I sent them an email twice and it took them forever to reply, eh. I'm a paying customer and I need help with my e-learning videos, but they're just ignoring me, eh. I might have to switch to a different website for my videos, eh.

CommunicationAlthough Vimeo is great for sharing videos, their customer service has been really disappointing. I tried to get help with a bug that's been stopping my business from uploading videos for clients, but I haven't heard back in three weeks. This lack of response has really hurt my business and I'm not happy with how it's been handled.

CommunicationOh geez, I really wish I hadn't used this site. It's honestly the worst ever! Dealing with customer service is like talking to a brick wall, I swear. And let me tell you, those how-to videos are completely useless. Navigating the back office is a total nightmare, no joke. When I need help, forget about it - can't even get in touch with anyone. Ugh, never going back there again!
Platform limitations not clearly communicated

CommunicationThe video-sharing platform I used to trust isn't cutting it anymore. Vimeo doesn't tell you all the rules and limits of their plans, which can be super frustrating when you hit unexpected roadblocks. I mean, there's even a weekly upload limit they conveniently forget to mention in the plan info. And after hearing others complain about the same stuff, I've decided to find a new platform for my videos. It seems like Vimeo cares more about getting people to buy their most expensive plan instead of helping out freelancers like me.
About vimeo
Vimeo is an American video hosting, sharing, and services platform headquartered in New York City. Founded in November 2004 by Jake Lodwick and Zach Klein, the platform stands as a key competitor to YouTube, focusing primarily on providing a supportive environment for professional filmmakers and artists to showcase their work, offering high-quality video content. Vimeo differentiates itself by prioritizing ad-free viewing and providing powerful tools for content creation, sharing, collaboration, and video hosting needs. It's known for its supportive community and emphasis on high-quality, creative video content, rather than user-generated viral videos. Over the years, Vimeo has expanded its services to include subscription-based plans offering more storage, advanced tools, and video customization options, catering to a wide range of video creators from independent filmmakers to large enterprises.
