Points Program SCAM

Price

So I was thinking I could use my points to get some discounts, but it turns out they totally scammed me. They kept lying about giving me the discounts and ended up charging me full price!

Sale items cancelled

Price

I recently bought some stuff that was on sale online, but then I got an email a day and a half later saying my order got cancelled because of a 'mistake' in the pricing. When I talked to customer service, they hit me with a bunch of legal talk that basically said the company can cancel orders if they don't like the price the customer paid. I get that mistakes happen, but I think it's not cool to punish customers for the company's mistakes. Instead of cancelling orders and telling customers to buy again at a higher price, it would be better to admit the mistake, fulfill the original orders, fix the website pricing, and move forward in an honest way.

Purchased a pair of high-end mountain sunglasses on sale.

Price

Eh, so I bought these fancy mountain sunglasses on sale from this shop, right? But then I saw the same ones for way cheaper on another website. I contacted customer service to ask for a price match like they're supposed to do, and guess what? They gave me some bogus excuse and wouldn't match the price. Kinda bummed me out, you know? I'm a pretty savvy shopper, so I expect stores to stick to their policies, especially when it comes to matching prices. This whole thing really makes me question how much they care about keeping their customers happy.

Arcteryx Beta SL Jacket

Price

Hey there! So I had this not-so-great situation while shopping online. I got these annoying pop-up ads from Moosejaw about a super awesome 30% off deal on the Arcteryx Beta SL Jacket, bringing the price down to $208.99 from $299. But when I clicked on the link to buy the jacket, there was no discount at all. I reached out to Customer Service, sent them screenshots of the misleading ad, and guess what? They told me it was a mistake and there was no discount after all. Their response was kind of dismissive, telling me to reset my cookies and clear my browsing history, basically blaming my computer for the whole issue. I was really disappointed to see this shady advertising, especially when I've had way better experiences with other companies like REI, Backcountry, Sunny Sports, and Sierra Trading Post. This whole thing just left me feeling let down by Moosejaw, especially now that they're owned by Walmart.

New hoodie and hiking boots

Price

I got this super cool hoodie and some rad hiking boots from there, eh, and let me tell you it was a total bummer. Everyone says they're all chill and outdoorsy, but in reality, they're just after your money, eh. They trick you with fake discounts and try to sell you stuff no one wants, eh! Plus, they're terrible at responding to emails, eh, and their shipping costs are way too high. I was so pumped to get my stuff, but now I'm just super disappointed, eh.
