Laptop's fine, support not so much
Laptop's fine, support not so much
ServiceI liked the laptop itself — it's been great for work and taking notes on the go. But the box arrived without the charger and the Lenovo pen listed in the specs, so that was a pain. I rang customer support and they said tough luck, return it if you want. I asked for a small discount to buy a pen — no dice. Delivery was okay but service was weak.
Rough start, settled later

Servicenot a smooth buy, but it did get sorted in the end — so I'm mixed. I ordered about six weeks ago and at first it felt like a black hole: no delivery, no clear updates. First impression was slow and a bit sketchy, customer support felt distant, lots of scripted replies. I kept poking them, kept pushing, and after annoying back-and-forth I finally got the refund. Still not ideal, but it's resolved now.
Weird warranty decision
Weird warranty decision
Servicetheir assessment didn’t make sense. Customer service wasn't helpful on the phone. Other firms I've used honoured similar claims without fuss. After I paid a fee they returned it and it mostly works, though it still freezes sometimes. Dryly put, the repair was quick but their blame-the-customer line felt shady. Not a disaster, but I won’t be buying from them again.

Serviceit wasn’t smooth, but in the end I’m relieved it worked well enough for my trip. I spent over seven hours on a flaky display, bounced between support teams and got canned, repetitive replies — even though I had clear evidence early. They dragged their feet for weeks, so I bought a spare laptop before going overseas. Support felt disjointed and slow, but at least I made the trip.
Account Deactivation Assistance
Account Deactivation Assistance
ServiceThat was the worst customer service I ever had, eh? I tried talking to different departments to get my account deactivated, but no one was any help. The supposed "customer care" team, sales, and tech support all just passed me around. I never got those confirmation codes I needed, and I'm so frustrated with the lack of help. I'm never buying from this company again, no way.
Three IdeaCentre machines
Three IdeaCentre machines
ServiceI gotta say, the customer service at this company is seriously lacking. I was trying to order three IdeaCentre machines and asked about a trade-in deal in an online chat, but I haven't heard back yet. When I phoned during regular hours, I got a recording telling me to call back later. Then, when I tried a different number, I was told there was a 45-minute wait time and was promised a callback that never happened. This kind of unresponsiveness does not make the company look good in terms of management and customer service.
Recent laptop purchase
Recent laptop purchase
ServiceI recently bought a new laptop from the store and I gotta say, I was pretty happy with the whole experience. The staff there really knew their stuff and helped me out in picking the right one for what I needed. The laptop's been working great for me and I haven't had any problems with it yet.
Laptop malfunctioning within warranty
Laptop malfunctioning within warranty
ServiceAfter I bought a laptop from that company, it gave me so many problems. It ended up breaking less than a year after the warranty ran out, so now it's just sitting there useless. There wasn't any physical damage or weird software downloaded on it, but it just kept showing a blue screen and shutting down within minutes of turning on, even after I tried to fix it. The company wouldn't help me out at all, they wouldn't fix it or give me a new one. I was really let down by their lack of support.
High-end gaming PC purchase
High-end gaming PC purchase
ServiceI just bought this fancy gaming PC from an IT company, eh? At first, I was really pumped about how well it worked and all the cool specs it had. But then, after about 9 months, I started having problems with the internet connection, which messed up how some of my apps were running. The customer service folks told me I had to back up all my stuff and basically start over with the PC, which was a real hassle, let me tell you.
Laptop repair experience
Laptop repair experience
ServiceSo my laptop just suddenly wouldn't turn on, like, a year after I got it. I called up Lenovo customer service for some help, and they were pretty quick to set up a courier to pick up my laptop and take it in for repairs. But man, that whole process turned into a total nightmare. They kept saying it'd take 2-3 weeks to get the spare parts, but it just dragged on for weeks and weeks. Every time I asked, they'd be like, "Oh, the parts are on the way," but it was just disappointment after disappointment. It ended up taking a whole 6 weeks before I finally got my laptop back, and Lenovo said it passed all their tests. But when I finally got it, the touchpad wasn't working, it was overheating like crazy, and it was making way too much noise. So now I gotta send it back for repairs again, and I'm stuck without a laptop for even longer.
1800 dollar laptop charger
1800 dollar laptop charger
ServiceTwo months after buying this laptop for $1800, the charger fell off my desk onto the floor and broke. It was just a short fall, but it couldn't handle it. I thought the warranty would take care of getting me a new charger, but Lenovo said no because it fell on the floor. Also, the laptop had a bunch of pre-installed junk that was a real pain to get rid of. I'm pretty let down by how easily the charger broke and the unhelpful customer service from Lenovo.
