Promotional credit scam
Promotional credit scam
CommunicationI got this promo credit in an email, and it didn't have an expiry date. I was all pumped to use it, but when I tried to apply it to my purchase, I got a message saying it was expired. How convenient, right? And to top it off, there's no phone number to call customer service and talk about it - they only send impersonal text messages! It's pretty obvious they don't care about their customers or keeping their promises.
About Everlane
Yes, Everlane is an American clothing retailer that focuses on creating and selling essential wardrobe pieces under a principle of exceptional quality, ethical factories, and transparency. Established in 2010 by Michael Preysman and Jesse Farmer, the company distinguishes itself by revealing the costs behind each product, including materials, labor, duties, and transportation. Everlane commits to using high-quality, sustainable materials to minimize environmental impact. It gained prominence for its direct-to-consumer model, offering products exclusively through its website and limited retail locations, thus bypassing traditional retail markups. Everlane's mission revolves around providing consumers with ethically made, durable goods at transparent prices, while also aiming to build a more sustainable future.
