In my seventies, I decided to take a DNA test to find out about my genetic background. Since I was adopted, I was really curious about my family roots. Even though I didn't have a lot of money to spend on digging into my family history, I decided to give it a shot. I've heard some sketchy things about other companies, so I figured I'd give this one a go. I love learning about my family history with my DNA test. It's really interesting to see where we all come from. One thing I noticed is that there seems to be more information on Western ancestry than Asian ancestry. I really hope they expand the testing labs to the East so that more people can have the opportunity to do tests there as well.

I really like how detailed the ancestry breakdown and country origins are, but I kinda wish they included more about when my ancestors came to America or other countries, you know? And I was hoping for more info on my Native American bloodlines and ancestry. It would have been cool to see if I'm connected to Pocahontas like my grandma always talks about.
