Trust
the whole process was messy. The first freelancer fixed a couple of minor bugs but ignored the memory integration I paid for. When I asked for a refund, he tried to bribe me — yeah, asked for a 5-star review for a partial refund. I refused, and before I could revoke access he logged in and deleted the chatbot and several key pages. That cost me time and extra cash to repair, and, honestly, my trust.
So I tried again with someone else. Communication went dead for days, then I got a “delivery” that was basically blank. Fiverr stepped in both times and refunded me — credit where it’s due, they did process refunds after I supplied logs and screenshots. But Fiverr also told me the case was closed once the money was back, and left both freelancers active on the platform. One of them even messaged me off-platform, got abusive — not cool.
I started out skeptical of the whole marketplace, and that skepticism grew with each bad interaction. By the end, though, I’m somewhat satisfied: I got my money back and eventually got the site back up. It took more time and stress than it should have, and I wish the platform took stronger action so others don’t go through the same runaround. If you’re using Fiverr for anything critical — especially a client-facing launch — be careful with access permissions, back everything up, and expect to follow up with support. They can help, but they won’t necessarily protect you from bad actors.

TrustI had a problem with a freelancer on this platform where I wasn't happy with the work they did. Even though they said they finished the job and got paid, I was able to talk to customer support and got a refund after giving them all the info. I think there should be more protection for buyers and sellers to avoid stuff like this.
hired freelancer for coding work
hired freelancer for coding work
TrustI hired a freelancer on Fiverr to help me with a coding project. But things went south when they asked me to pay them through a cryptocurrency account instead of using the platform's payment system. And then, they disappeared without delivering the final product! Luckily, Fiverr came to the rescue and gave me credit for the freelancer's shady behavior, which I'm grateful for. Just a heads up, there are talented freelancers on the site, but watch out for those who try to bend the rules or take transactions off the platform.

TrustFiverr is a great place for both buyers and sellers. It's easy to use, payments are simple, and you don't have to worry about running a website. But, there are some not-so-great things too. Customer support is limited and sometimes sellers aren't properly checked out, leading to scams and lousy services. Personally, I had an issue where my card got canceled with no good fix, which was pretty frustrating.
Voiceover service
Voiceover service
TrustI got a voiceover service on Fiverr, but was bummed when I found out it was done by a robot. I reached out to support and told them that the person who said they were doing the voiceover wasn't actually a real person - their profile pic was just some generic stock image. Even after I showed them proof, Fiverr didn't do anything about it and let the fake stuff keep going.
About Fiverr
Fiverr International Ltd. is an Israeli online marketplace for freelance services. Founded in 2010 by Micha Kaufman and Shai Wininger, the company provides a platform for freelancers to offer services to customers worldwide. It encompasses a wide range of categories, including graphic design, digital marketing, writing, video editing, and programming. The name "Fiverr" originates from the concept of the platform, where services were initially priced at $5 each. Over time, it has evolved to allow sellers to charge the market rate for their services. Fiverr aims to connect freelancers (sellers) with people looking to hire (buyers), facilitating the gig economy.
