Annual Subscription Request for Refund
The company offered a 14-day trial period with a promise that if you requested a refund within that time, you would get one. I did just that when I wanted to cancel my annual subscription, but they totally ignored my request. That's just not right and makes me think they're running a scam. I'd warn others to steer clear of this company because they don't even follow their own rules.
Professional certificate courses
I gotta tell ya, I thought I scored a killer deal on some professional certificate courses recently. But man, was I in for a surprise! After just a few days, they started tacking on extra fees for every dang module. I tried reaching out to customer service, but no luck - no help at all. Doesn't look like this service is as legit as they say. I'm pretty ticked off and bummed that I wasted my hard-earned cash and time on this. You can bet I won't be sticking around with them. I'm taking my business somewhere else, for sure.
Online course certification
The online course certification I bought had a limited time, but no one told me when it would end or gave me a heads up as it got closer. It was so annoying not to be offered any solutions or other choices, which made me feel caught off guard and let down by the whole thing. People should always be kept in the loop and have different options when time is running out.
Learning all kinds of stuff
There are like so many courses to choose from, eh? Whether you're into computer stuff, or personal growth, or makeup, or history, or coding, or finances, it's all there for the takin'! Pretty cool, eh? I've had to take some courses for work before, and the interface was just so easy to use, eh.
Subscription experience
I was pretty ticked off when I found out that even though I deleted my account months ago, there have been sneaky charges showing up on my account every month. It's really frustrating to see a company that's supposed to be all about education pulling shady moves like that. On top of that, their courses were nothing special, just run-of-the-mill. After my experience, I wouldn't feel right telling anyone to sign up for their subscription service.
My course
This course I took is terrible compared to others like Data Camp or Udemy! I couldn't even practice what I was learning. The tests were pointless and didn't help me at all. I'm never using this platform again!
E-learning platform experience
I've tested out a few different e-learning platforms, but one really caught my attention. This one platform not only had great content but also a really easy-to-use interface. I've been using it for a couple of years now and can honestly say I've learned a lot and developed some skills through it. There was one time though when I was promised a discount on a course but never got it, which was a letdown. Also, I think they could be more upfront about course fees since some courses end up costing more after you've already signed up.
Online course purchase
I signed up for this awesome online course during a New Year deal and got an annual plan for about $160. Not all the courses are included in the plan, so remember that. It's a fantastic way to start learning new things and improve your tech skills. If you really want to excel, you need to put in the effort on your own projects. The more time you dedicate, the more benefits you'll see. Don't pay attention to the negative reviews from people complaining about payment issues - either the payment system is malfunctioning (which is doubtful) or they simply didn't read the terms and conditions carefully.
Subscription Misunderstanding
It's too bad to hear about your experience with the subscription process. It's really important to know what you're getting into when you sign up for something. You don't want to be caught off guard by any hidden fees or problems. Make sure you take the time to go through all the details before you make a decision, especially when it comes to online learning. Sometimes those subscription offers can be tricky. And if you have any questions or concerns, don't be afraid to reach out to the customer service team. It's better to be safe than sorry!
Online course completion issue
I just finished taking a course online and had a problem getting my certificate. Even though I put in effort and money into the course, the system didn't recognize that I finished and wouldn't give me the certificate I deserved. It's super annoying to have no help or direction on how to fix this issue. Plus, canceling my membership was a huge hassle with tons of unnecessary steps and roadblocks. All in all, my experience was not great and I really recommend staying away from this platform. Just watch out.
Online courses review
Eh, I don't get why some folks are dissing online courses. I did 4 of 'em and got my certificates no sweat. They even make you verify your identity just to make sure you're not some faker trying to pull a fast one. And seriously, if you're not into a small monthly fee, think about shelling out thousands for a traditional course. C'mon, it's a sweet deal, eh! The only thing is they should let you snag a refund if things go haywire or you wrap up the course and don't need it anymore.
Plus membership trial
Coursera has some really great expert-level courses that are hard to come by elsewhere, but there just aren't enough courses in that category. I figured I'd give the Plus membership trial a shot, and it's actually been pretty good so far. I'm thinking of sticking with it, but I am a bit nervous about the payment problems that lots of people have mentioned after the trial period.
Online learning platform
I just wanted to say that I had a really hard time with the online learning platform. It was so frustrating to navigate and not very user-friendly. The layout of the website was so confusing, it felt like it was made by someone who didn't really know what they were doing. I checked out another platform, and wow, what a difference! It was way easier to use and understand. Honestly, based on my experience, I wouldn't suggest using this platform to anyone.
Online courses
The courses were decent to begin with, but then I began to notice some problems. They were talking about files that didn't even exist and some of the content was just plain wrong. On top of that, their customer service is terrible - they only have a worthless chatbot and no real people to talk to. It's frustrating when you have questions or issues. I saw lots of complaints on their forum that they don't seem to deal with. They really need to improve by updating their content and actually providing support to their customers.
Unauthorized charges
I just wanted to share that I had some unexpected charges on my account for subscriptions that I didn't sign up for. I reached out to customer service, got a case number, but unfortunately, the problem persisted and I got charged again the next month. It was a hassle trying to get help and talk to someone about it. In the end, I had to change my credit card number to stop any more unauthorized charges.
Free courses payment change
Ever since they changed their policy, Coursera ain't as convenient for me anymore. Before, you could take the courses for free and only pay for the certificate at the end. But now, you gotta fork over some cash just to access the content, which pretty much makes it useless for me without spending money.
Course purchase
I'm so disappointed in the service this organization provided. Like many others, I got caught in their sneaky ways. I signed up for a Fundamentals course, finished it right after the trial period, but when I wanted to cancel, they conveniently made it impossible. The lack of honesty is terrible, and charging me without asking is just wrong. Dealing with a company that acts like this is so aggravating. I wish I never signed up for their services and I definitely recommend others to stay away.
