I recently signed up for a credit score service and boy was I let down by what I got. I've been using the service for a whole year now and I've come to see that it hasn't made any difference to my credit score at all. The company lures you in with their fancy ads, but once you're in, you realize it's all just a trick. It's a trap that doesn't actually do anything good for you, and if you try to cancel, it might even hurt your credit score. I'm thinking of cancelling my subscription next month and if I notice any bad effects on my credit score because of this service, I will definitely take legal action. I'll keep you updated on how it all goes.

I had a hard time making an account because the system said I already had one, but Hector was amazing and sorted it out by getting help from the next level support and engineering team. Now I can use Borrowell and I'm definitely gonna let all my friends know about it!

Credit building service
I tried out this credit building service that said it would boost my credit score. But when I looked at my Equifax report, I was let down to see that there was no change. Even though I made several payments every month, it didn't seem to have any effect on my score. It was frustrating because it seemed like the Credit Bureaus didn't take these reports into account at all. It felt like I wasted my time and money.
Rent reporting service
I signed up for the rent reporting service at $5 a month. They mentioned that it will appear on my credit report as a trade line called "BRWL SELF-RPT RENT" within 4 weeks, which seems quite fast for this kind of service. I do wish they could have a more official name for it to make it more credible. I'm still in my first month, so I can't say for sure if it's working yet. The checkout process is done through Stripe. Overall, the other services to check my credit score seem to be working fine, but I haven't tested any recommended products yet. I have been having issues with the system being down, so I have to email their team monthly with a screenshot or statement of my e-transfer to my landlord.

I'm not too impressed with the credit card and personal loan suggestions I keep getting from this site. Even though I have a solid credit history, no debt, and always pay my bills on time and in full, they keep recommending me options with high interest rates that are not that great. It's frustrating to keep seeing these mediocre offers over and over again, especially when I know there are much better choices available.

I've had over 100 inquiries on my credit score from this company even though I've never dealt with them. I've been asking them for over a year to stop the inquiries, but they just keep increasing. If you care about your credit score and privacy, stay away from this company.
