Dale really helped us out when we got stuck with unexpected insurance costs from the owner. It was super annoying to be surprised with an extra $79.00 charge for interior insurance that wasn't even mentioned in our rental agreement. The owner should have been upfront about this requirement to avoid any frustrations and surprises for renters like us. My wife ended up covering the cost, but I was so close to just cancelling the rental and asking for a refund plus interest, or even seeking legal help. Renting an RV should be straightforward, with all fees and rules clearly laid out from the start, for the benefit of both renters and owners. It felt kind of unfair to suddenly tack on extra charges without proper communication or agreement beforehand.

I was totally caught off guard when I made my reservation and then suddenly had to pay an extra insurance fee that I wasn't told about beforehand. And to top it off, we didn't even plan on driving the RV, so why did we have to shell out for insurance? It just seemed like a sneaky way to try and squeeze more money out of us. We definitely won't be using this platform again and we'll make sure to warn others about these kinds of hidden fees. Being open and honest with your customers is so important in business, and the lack of transparency here was really disappointing.
