Hours later we tracked down a proper Iberia desk and got rebooked for the evening; a friend was told there were no same-day seats, so uneven treatment too. Plane itself was fine, just many hours delayed. Arriving in Madrid the baggage message showed "last baggage on belt" but nothing appeared; ten minutes later our bags rolled out — frustrating but at least not lost. Asked about hotel or accommodation because we landed late and had a train connection next day; got refused, which felt stingy. Overall avoidable chaos, mainly from poor communication and coordination, though the vouchers and eventual baggage arrival were small bright spots.
