In Miami I got two conflicting messages about whether to collect my suitcase for a connection. I chose to leave it behind so I wouldn’t miss another flight. That was practical, but stressful. I filed a formal complaint later and they reviewed the wrong flight, so that didn’t help. What shocked me was the lack of coordination and accountability. On the plus side, one gate agent actually spent extra time walking me through options — small, but it mattered and was unexpected. My doubts before buying weren’t eased. If you’re solo and don’t want added stress, think twice.
