CoverageI recently changed from having a Hulu Live subscription to their basic package a few months back. I don't usually watch the news much, but today I wanted to catch up on what's going on. When I went on Hulu, I was bummed out to see that the coverage was really biased towards one side. With Hulu Live, I liked being able to pick my own channels and hear different perspectives. But with the basic package, not seeing any opposing viewpoints was a red flag for me. It felt more like they were pushing an agenda rather than giving reliable news. As a network, Hulu should focus on showing a fair and balanced view.
About Hulu
Hulu is an American subscription video on demand service fully controlled and majority-owned by The Walt Disney Company, with NBCUniversal, owned by Comcast, as an equity stakeholder. Launched on October 29, 2007, Hulu offers a vast library of television series and films, including original content, network TV shows, and movies. Initially created as a joint venture between NBC Universal, Providence Equity Partners, and later The Walt Disney Company, Hulu focused on streaming recent episodes of television series from their respective television networks. Over the years, Hulu expanded its offerings with a subscription service, Hulu Plus (now simply Hulu), which includes full seasons of programs from the companies and other partners, and ventured into the production of original content to further compete in the streaming market.
