Smart home device purchase
The customer service at Anova is terrible, the worst I've ever dealt with. They don't seem to exist, not responding to any questions or problems with their products. It's like they just want to make a sale and then disappear when things go wrong. I bought things that didn't work together, and when I asked for help, I got no response. It's really frustrating and disappointing.
Anova Precision Oven
So I was waiting for my Anova Precision Oven to arrive, but it got delayed. I tried reaching out to Customer Service for help, but the response I got was not helpful at all. They just told me to look outside my house for the package, which didn't really solve anything. When I tried contacting Toll Australia, the delivery company, they couldn't help me without a reference number, even though I gave them one from their tracking website. This whole lack of communication and efficiency has left me feeling really disappointed and frustrated with the whole experience.
Sous Vide Precision Cooker
The app for this product is terrible. It keeps disconnecting and is honestly a waste of time. I find it's much simpler and quicker to just set the temperature and time manually on the front of the product. The product itself works great, consistently giving me delicious sous vide meals. Don't bother with the app, just stick to the manual controls and save yourself the trouble.
Sous vide machine experience
My sous vide machine was amazing for a while, but then it stopped working. Even though it had a two-year warranty, it broke down after only using it 20 times. Anova's customer service didn't give me the choice to get it fixed or refunded, they just offered me a $25 discount on a new one. And to top it off, I couldn't even use it with other discounts. It was really disappointing and I won't be buying from them anymore.
Gifted Precision Cooker
Well, someone gave me this fancy Precision Cooker, and I was excited to try it. But guess what? It's basically useless because it doesn't work properly right out of the box. And to top it off, there’s no way to return it without a receipt. The customer service is sketchy at best. If they can't even stand behind their products from the start, then I'll pass on buying from them.

I gotta tell you, I am absolutely loving my new sous vide cooker! It's crazy easy to work with and really takes my cooking game up a notch. Everything I make with it turns out delicious. I can whip up meat dishes, veggies, and even sweet treats. The temperature control is bang on, which means my food always comes out bang on too. When I'm using it, I feel like a top-notch chef in my own kitchen!
Nano device
So I ordered this Nano thing online, and let me tell ya, it was a total mess. I was so stoked about it, but man, it was such a letdown. They told me it was available, but then they flip-flopped and said it wasn't, so now I had to wait forever to actually get it. And don't even get me started on their customer service - it was like talking to a wall, no help whatsoever! You can bet your bottom dollar I ain't ordering from them again.

There was no instruction manual, user guide, or anything to tell me how to use, clean, or take care of the product. How am I supposed to figure out how to use this thing correctly without any help? I contacted their customer service, and they told me they don't give out any physical instruction manuals. It's frustrating and disappointing that they didn't include such essential information.

I recently bought a sous vide precision cooker and was told that there would be a delay in delivery because they didn't have many in stock. I got a message saying the delivery would be upgraded to next-day DHL service, so I was excited to get it soon. But it never came, and when I contacted DHL, they said they weren't told to pick up anything for delivery. I've sent ANOVA many emails, but haven't heard back. They said it would arrive today, but it still hasn't shown up. It's disappointing that such a good product is being let down by bad customer service. Be careful when ordering from this company.
Empty promises
I was so pumped to check out their Boxing Day sale, but man, was I let down. There was hardly anything left in stock. It was like everything good got snatched up, and all they had left was the super expensive stuff and some outdated models. It felt like a total bait and switch, ya know? They rope you in with these amazing deals, but then hit you with the priciest options. I wasn't gonna be fooled by that scheme, no way.

I ended up getting a way cheaper option that works just as good as the old one and has better WIFI too. I'm warning everyone to watch out for this company and their terrible customer service.
