As someone who loves food and knows how to use technology well, I was really interested in trying out a Wifi Sous Vide device. When I got the Gen 2 model, I was happy to find out how simple it was to use. Being able to cook from a distance using the wifi feature is really great. I can keep an eye on my cooking and make changes from anywhere, which makes preparing meals so much easier. So, I went online and filed a warranty claim. The customer service team got back to me quickly and walked me through some troubleshooting. They figured out that I needed a replacement unit. They sent me a new one within 10 days of me filing the claim. Even though it was a bummer to have the issue, I was really impressed with the service I got after buying it.

So I was waiting for my Anova Precision Oven to arrive, but it got delayed. I tried reaching out to Customer Service for help, but the response I got was not helpful at all. They just told me to look outside my house for the package, which didn't really solve anything. When I tried contacting Toll Australia, the delivery company, they couldn't help me without a reference number, even though I gave them one from their tracking website. This whole lack of communication and efficiency has left me feeling really disappointed and frustrated with the whole experience.

I just bought a sous-vide cooker on sale during Black Friday and snagged a great deal. It came in super quick, faster than I thought, which was a nice surprise. But I didn't get any updates on the shipping, which seems to be a problem for others too. Even so, the cooker itself is top-notch. It might not be ideal for daily cooking because it takes a while, but it's a sturdy piece of equipment that I can't wait to use on weekends.

The app for this product is terrible. It keeps disconnecting and is honestly a waste of time. I find it's much simpler and quicker to just set the temperature and time manually on the front of the product. The product itself works great, consistently giving me delicious sous vide meals. Don't bother with the app, just stick to the manual controls and save yourself the trouble.

My sous vide machine was amazing for a while, but then it stopped working. Even though it had a two-year warranty, it broke down after only using it 20 times. Anova's customer service didn't give me the choice to get it fixed or refunded, they just offered me a $25 discount on a new one. And to top it off, I couldn't even use it with other discounts. It was really disappointing and I won't be buying from them anymore.

Well, someone gave me this fancy Precision Cooker, and I was excited to try it. But guess what? It's basically useless because it doesn't work properly right out of the box. And to top it off, there’s no way to return it without a receipt. The customer service is sketchy at best. If they can't even stand behind their products from the start, then I'll pass on buying from them.

Empty promises
I was so pumped to check out their Boxing Day sale, but man, was I let down. There was hardly anything left in stock. It was like everything good got snatched up, and all they had left was the super expensive stuff and some outdated models. It felt like a total bait and switch, ya know? They rope you in with these amazing deals, but then hit you with the priciest options. I wasn't gonna be fooled by that scheme, no way.

My Anova gadget stopped working after 2 years, which was a bummer. I was thinking of getting the pro version and a sous vide container, but after reading lots of bad reviews about the company's shipping, communication, and overall customer service, I decided to hold off on buying more. If Anova wants to keep customers and bring in new ones, they gotta fix these problems right away and improve their customer service.
