Video doorbell purchase
The video doorbell works okay as a doorbell, but the camera part is pretty disappointing. It only records when you press the button, not when it senses motion. The app is hard to figure out and the instructions don't really help. Honestly, it's not worth the money, better to steer clear of this product.
Sketchy surveillance equipment
This company is a complete scam, eh! I bought some surveillance gear from them and turns out they were spying on folks with their devices. On top of that, they're stealing identities, piling up massive debts, and selling off people's info and access to their gadgets. It's totally gross and unethical. Stay far away from this company, eh!
Vid doorbell malfunction
The Vid doorbell I bought was great at first, but then it just died out of nowhere. I made sure the battery was fully charged and the wifi was working fine, but still no luck. I tried contacting customer service through email, but no one is getting back to me. They gave me a ticket number, but that's about it. I'm really upset and annoyed with this product, it's been a total waste of money. I really need a new one or my money back, but the company isn't responding at all.
Smart doorbell
The smart doorbell I bought was a total letdown. Sure, it did its job as a regular doorbell, but the app only worked when my phone was practically on top of the doorbell. What's the point of having a smart gadget if it can't even reach my phone across the house? This product fell short in terms of performance and dependability, leaving me annoyed and regretful about splurging on it. It's mind-boggling why companies keep churning out and marketing such subpar goods.
Wireless doorbell
I bought this wireless doorbell hoping I could answer the door with my phone, but it's useless! The batteries are super crappy and it was a complete waste of money. I'm so bummed out and wouldn't suggest it to anyone.
Smart door lock purchase
As a customer who recently bought a cool smart door lock, it was kind of a letdown to find out I couldn't lock or unlock it from far away. I mean, come on! In this day and age, you'd think a smart gadget would have that basic feature. It's pretty annoying to have to still use a key to lock and unlock the door every time, totally defeating the purpose of getting a smart lock. Even though it looks nice and was easy to install, not being able to control it from a distance is a big no-no for me.
Bell and Camera
Eh, I've had this bell and camera setup for a bit now. The bell and camera do their job fine, but when someone rings it on the app, my phone takes so long to actually ring. I swear, by the time it finally goes off, the person's already outta here! Feels like the server must be in a whole other galaxy or somethin'.
Video doorbell purchase
Today I got my video doorbell, eh, and man, it took me two whole hours to try and set it up with my stuff. I even had to watch YouTube videos trying to figure out how to connect it right, but no dice. And to make matters worse, turns out the one I got looked like it had been used 'cause the batteries were all wobbly in the box. So now I gotta ask for my money back and cross my fingers that the company gets back to me quick, eh.
Emergency assistance app for elderly mother
So I bought this emergency assistance app for my elderly mom, you know, with an emergency button and text/phone messages for 30 bucks. The whole point was that if something happened, she could just press a button and help would come right away. But turns out, the app was a total flop. Even after my mom tried it out multiple times, pressing the button, nothing happened - no messages, no calls. We were so frustrated and it felt like we got ripped off by the company who made the app. It was really disappointing how unreliable and useless the whole system turned out to be.
Doorbell purchase
The doorbell I got from here is decent, the picture quality is alright, but the sound is awful. My main problem with it is that after about half an hour of working fine, it just stops working completely. The only fix is to take out the batteries and put them back in, which can be pretty annoying. I know you get what you pay for, but this doorbell isn't meeting my expectations. I had a Ring doorbell before, but the battery life was terrible and recharging it was a pain. I might look for a cheaper ding dong bell elsewhere. Live and learn.
Smart IR remote for Air Conditioner and Google Home integration
The Smart IR remote I bought has completely changed the game when it comes to controlling my air conditioner at home. It works perfectly with my Google Home, making it so easy to change the temperature without even lifting a finger. Setting it up was a breeze, and I was really impressed by how smoothly it operates. I never have to stress about manually adjusting my air conditioner settings now that the Smart IR remote takes care of it all for me. I definitely suggest this product to anyone wanting to improve their home automation setup.
Wireless doorbell purchase
I bought a wireless doorbell from this company and at first, it was all good. But then, after just a month, the doorbell crapped out on me. I tried to get a refund using PayPal, but the supplier kept sending me confusing messages on WhatsApp. PayPal didn't come through for me, and the company only coughed up $25 as a sorry gift, when I spent $92 on that doorbell. Feels like a total rip-off and a huge letdown.
Smart home devices
As a customer who recently bought some smart home gadgets from Tuya, I gotta say I'm really let down by how they're working. They've been super glitchy, always losing connection and giving the wrong info to my smart home system. Even though Tuya says they support Home Assistant, these devices have been giving me trouble for the last six months. It's been a real headache trying to manage my smart home in a smooth and efficient way. I definitely wouldn't recommend getting Tuya devices or anything that's supposed to work with Tuya if you use Home Assistant for your smart home stuff.
Smart video doorbell
Being someone who's into tech stuff, I thought a smart video doorbell would be perfect for its ease and security. But, when I got it and tried it out, I was really let down by how it worked. The motion sensor just couldn't catch any movement no matter how many times I tweaked the settings or moved it around. And it was always in sleep mode, needing the button to be pressed just to wake it up. Honestly, the quality of the product was disappointing. I think going for a better, more high-quality smart doorbell would have been a smarter move.
Smart home device
Oh man, this smart home thing is a total nightmare to get up and running. It doesn't even work with regular remote codes! Trying to add a remote is a total joke - you either have to have the exact one or cross your fingers that it's on a list that has nothing you own. It's so frustrating! Trust me, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this hot mess.
Intelligent alarm system for monitoring water levels in a sump
So, I bought this smart alarm system to keep an eye on my sump water levels, and let me tell you, I'm super bummed with how it turned out. It was supposed to be able to handle this job, but it fell short of expectations. First off, the design is just awful and setting it up is way too complicated. Instead of just plugging in a simple USB charger from the outside, you have to take apart the whole thing to plug it in and then run the wires for the sensors. Not only is this a pain, but it's also super annoying. The float sensor that comes with it is cheap and doesn't work well either. And to top it off, the wifi sensors you can add on aren't even waterproof, which defeats the whole purpose. Plus, they included these random resistors that I have no idea what to do with. The instructions were confusing and seemed like they were translated by Google after a few drinks. And trying to find help on YouTube was no better, with poorly made videos and unclear commentaries. All in all, this product is a waste of money and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable water monitoring system.
Bulbs and pelmet lights purchase
Oh my goodness, I bought these amazing light bulbs and pelmet lights, but the app is so confusing! The controls never seem to work properly, and I can't get any help from customer service... it's just so frustrating! All I want is to be able to use my new lights properly 😭
Doorbell camera
So hey, I got this new doorbell camera and it's pretty awesome, eh! It's working really well and I'm totally happy with it. The prices seem alright, but I gotta admit, the subscription plans are kinda confusing. I just picked one and it's been working out fine. This is actually the third doorbell camera I've gotten, and I gotta say, this one's my favorite. It's been a year now and I still think it's great. That's just my two cents!
Smart doorbell
My experience with the smart doorbell was not that great, eh? It was so slow to take pictures, sometimes not even catching the person at the door before they were gone, you know? And the notifications were all messed up, only ringing after the person had already gone away. I was also let down to find out that the website I bought it from, claiming to be British, was actually from China, eh? That lack of honesty was really annoying and deceiving. The reviews for the product looked fake too, not showing how it actually worked, you know?
