    DIY home automation products

    The DIY home automation stuff I got from this company is priced pretty fair and strikes a good balance between being hands-on and easy to set up. The Sonoff gear is all about giving you choices between doing it yourself or just setting it up without much fuss. However, I noticed that the app for controlling things isn't super flexible when it comes to automation, and it doesn't keep track of the history from the SNZB-02 temperature/humidity sensors. Also, the user manual they give you can be a bit lacking sometimes, which can make it tough to find basic info. It would be cool if they added a WIFI/ZigBee control gadget for CCT LED stripes/RBG LED stripes to their product range. All in all, I'm happy with what I bought, but there's definitely room for improvement in some areas.

    Last minute business trip items

    I just bought some last-minute stuff for a work trip, but then I found out it wouldn't arrive on time. So, I contacted customer service for help. I was surprised at how helpful they were - they sped up the shipping for me right away. It's not often you come across such great customer service, especially when it involves changing an order. I was really happy with how well the customer service team took care of me.

    Crystal drinking glasses purchase

    So, I bought these crystal drinking glasses online for a Christmas present. But, when they arrived, two of them had little cracks in them, which was no good. I contacted customer service right away, sending them pics of the broken glasses and explaining what happened. It took them a frustratingly long three weeks to get back to me. They just asked if I wanted a refund or a replacement. I decided on a replacement, but I told them to check the glasses first to make sure they weren't damaged. Even after sending them a bunch of follow-up emails, I still haven't heard anything back. It's pretty clear that they don't care about their customers and don't appreciate return business. I really recommend avoiding buying anything from them.
