Bulb Basket Christmas Gift
I bought a bulb basket as a Christmas gift back in early December, hoping it would arrive by 12/11-12. I needed it by then because the person I was giving it to was going away for the holiday. But Wind and Weather kept pushing back the shipping date, which really annoyed me. Every time I checked, the delivery date was later. Eventually, I had to talk to customer service to find out what was going on. They said some staff were out sick and they didn't know when or if the item would be shipped. This lack of communication was really disappointing. I felt like I messed up by not sending the gift on time. It was a total bummer, and I won't be buying from Wind and Weather again. It's obvious they don't care about their customers, and the different reasons they gave for the delay just made me more frustrated.
Metal Hanging Solar Light - Scalloped and Holiday Snowman Mobile
I ordered two things from this company at the end of November. One of them, the Antiqued Metal Hanging Solar Light - Scalloped, came broken. I got in touch with customer service and they sent me a replacement. However, the replacement just arrived today, and I'm disappointed because it looks cheap and hangs crooked. I wanted to give it as a gift, but now I feel embarrassed. Plus, it seems like it's made poorly and probably imported from China.
Copper boot tray
I saw this really good deal on a copper boot tray on sale for $44.97, so I thought, "why not?" and signed up for their email list to get $10 off my first purchase. But guess what? The coupon never showed up, even after waiting for more than 3 days. And to make things worse, the price of the boot tray went up to $64.97. I kept getting their emails, but that promised coupon was nowhere to be found. This whole situation has been a major letdown, so I won't be buying from them again.
Botched up orders, incorrect delivery, return mishaps
Man, dealing with this company has been such a nightmare. They totally messed up my orders, delivered them all wrong, and couldn't even figure out how to do a return properly. They told me to send stuff back to UPS, then sent me a FED EX return label instead. Definitely steer clear of this company!
Glass Floor Lamp
I was really let down by the Glass Floor Lamp I ordered. The lamp was not great quality, with flimsy metal that made it lean to the side. The switch was busted when I got it, so I couldn't even use it. Even though it was on sale, I don't think it was worth the money I spent. Trying to send it back seems like a hassle, since I can't reuse the packaging and would have to spend more time and cash to pack it up and send it back.
Decorative outdoor wind chime
I just bought this really cool wind chime for my backyard from this company 'cause I loved the design and the high quality. At first, I was happy with it, but then I saw that even though it was on sale, I got charged the full price. I tried reaching out to customer service for some answers, but I couldn't find their email anywhere. And the return info on the website was messed up too, which just made me more frustrated. When I finally got a hold of someone, they said they couldn't fix the pricing mistake. So now, I'm sending the wind chime back and won't be shopping with them again. The whole experience was ruined by their lack of transparency and unhelpful customer service.
Defective item, excellent customer service
I bought something for 20 bucks, but it was a dud. Instead of dealing with the return process, I gave them a call to let out my anger. Turns out, the customer service rep hooked me up with a refund right away, no questions asked. Their customer service game is next level - definitely got my loyalty now. I'd totally suggest this company to anyone in need of top-notch service.
Unauthorized purchase
My wife's credit card got used without permission to buy something from here. I called customer service twice, and they helped me figure it out. But they said they'd call me back to help find the person who did it, and they never did.
$100 gift card order
I recently bought a $100 gift card to add to my collection. I was supposed to get a physical card from W&W within a specific time frame, but it still hasn't shown up after a month. I got two email confirmations, but the missing card has got me worried. I tried emailing and calling customer service, but no one got back to me, which made the whole thing a frustrating waste of time. Now I'm thinking about taking legal action over a measly $100 purchase, which is pretty disappointing. I definitely won't be buying from them again to avoid going through this again.
metal garden stakes
I just bought some metal garden stakes from the store, eh. But, they didn't really live up to the hype from the reviews on their website, unfortunately. They didn't spin like they were supposed to, only in really strong wind, and the quality wasn't all that great, eh. It was also a bummer that I couldn't leave my own review on their site, which made me wonder if the other reviews were even legit, eh. In the end, it was kind of deceiving and didn't match up to what I was hoping for in terms of quality and how well they worked, eh.
Solar spinner not spinning in the sun
I picked up one of those solar spinner things and it doesn't spin at all when it's sunny out! I got a new one but it was just as bad, thankfully they gave me a refund.
Bought two items, only received one
I ordered two things, eh, but only got one in the first package. I reached out to customer service after waiting for the second item and they said they'd send it ASAP, you know. But then I saw on their website that the item was still there, but for a cheaper price than what I paid, eh. Later on, I got a message saying my order was canceled. It seems like they ran out of stock after I ordered, but still sent it out to people who ordered after me. I'd suggest thinking twice before buying from them again, eh.
Brass Jeffersonian rain gauge
My family and I bought this really neat rain gauge that looked amazing in our garden. But after only 6 months, the ball lost its red color and then it wouldn't even float in the water! When I tried to pull it up, the ball got stuck, and the vial dropped and broke. It was such a disappointment! So, we called the store to get replacements, but they wanted to charge us so much money just for a ball and a vial. Like, seriously! My mom said we're going to find a different store for outdoor stuff now, and I'm really disappointed.
Outdoor thermometer
I bought an outdoor thermometer from this company not too long ago, and let me tell you, it wasn't a great experience. When I ordered it, the website didn't say it was out of stock. It was only after I bought it that they told me it would be back in stock in two weeks. But those two weeks turned into three, then four, then five, and eventually six weeks went by and I still didn't have my order. I was so fed up with the delays and lack of communication that I asked for a refund. At first, they said they could exchange it for something else, but then they just stopped replying. Luckily, I was able to sort everything out by opening a claim with PayPal, and they helped me get my money back.
Snowmen Spinner
I got this snowman spinner for my Christmas decorations, but it didn't even spin because it's too small. It was such a disappointment, eh?
Password Trouble
Wind & Weather really ticked me off! They kept locking me out of my account even though I knew my password. So frustrating! And then they fooled me with fake discounts and hidden shipping fees. Not cool. They really need to get their website sorted out right away.
