Pretty happy, honestly

Totally sold — the watch is great, better than expected; shipping quick, service friendly (a bit chatty), price fair, and they even threw in a tiny sticker, unexpectedly cute.

Saw it at a buddy's trail run, hesitated about battery and toughness, but after a few hikes the doubts faded — really solid, glad I bought it.

Glad it's fixed, but...

Looking back, it's mostly solid — ends up working great, but setup annoyed me. I bought it because my knee needs careful run tracking after a busted old watch; support answered fast and fixed the simple fault.

Started worried, ended happy

Bought a used Suunto that seemed dead. Sent it to the repair centre and waited, kinda nervous. When it came back, I felt it — the moment I strapped it on after a dive and saw the recovery numbers, I relaxed. Uses great for daily runs and weekend dives. Glad it worked out, honestly.

Surprising support

Quick reply from support and they actually fixed my issue. I'm using the free version and it does everything I need. Compared to other apps this one feels cleaner. Small hiccup during setup, but overall relieved.

Looks first, performs well

Honestly, this is the nicest-looking watch I’ve owned so far, and I use it every day — runs, commuting, gym. Wore it on a run and wrist heart rate tracked pretty close to my chest strap (not exact, but close enough). Feels solid for the price; simple, rugged design. Kind of pleased, no fuss.

Almost lost, then showed up

Was about to assume this was lost — almost three weeks waiting with no updates. I complained, ticket got opened, watch arrived next day. Glad it worked out, but communication needs to be better. Heads up.

Mostly useful, except swims
1 reviews
I first saw it on a friend's wrist at the lake and bought it mostly for versatility. The moment I knew I was actually satisfied was during a long trail run — GPS held, battery lasted and HR looked reliable, and I just thought, this does what I need. I told a couple pals about it. That said, open-water swims repeatedly under-record distance (2 km shows as 1.5), which is disappointing and worth noting.

Slow return, eventual relief

I first saw their flyer at my climbing gym after a buddy tipped me. It dragged on, yes — long waits and vague replies — but the moment my watch finally came back and actually worked, I felt relieved, oddly satisfied, so yeah, mixed feelings.

Mailbox roulette

I ordered a watch in mid-August and started checking the tracking the next morning — the website looked fine and the estimated delivery seemed reasonable. After a week the courier said they couldn’t locate the parcel and tracking just stopped. I messaged the company several times and mostly got either nothing or vague replies. Oddly, one agent phoned me and promised to escalate, which was a small surprise, but in the end no refund, no timeframe, still waiting.

Finally found the moment it clicked

I bought this watch because I needed something solid for rehab after a bad back injury. At first I was skeptical — app glitches, slow syncs, and the wrist heart rate seemed off. I almost returned it. Then one afternoon on a familiar loop the route suddenly showed up again in the library and the HR matched my chest strap for the first time. That’s when I knew I could trust it. Support had been slow, but they did follow up and suggested a reset that actually helped. It’s not perfect. There are still occasional slowdowns in the app. But for tracking rehab sessions and longer hikes it does the job now, and that relief mattered.

Small wins, big letdowns

I bought a Suunto while it was on sale because my physio literally told me to start tracking walks and gentle runs for my back — needed something reliable, you know? The watch showed up quickly, which was nice, but the bezel was clearly off-centre. I contacted support and they said no exchanges and that if I wanted another one I’d have to buy it at full price since the sale ended. While I was trying to sort that out it went on sale again, so I ordered another and guess what — also faulty. Returned both, paid return shipping, and they didn’t refund the original delivery fee. That part felt wrong. I spent weeks emailing (too many messages, like 49), using chat, calling — the chat bot even said faulty items get costs refunded, but then support told me they couldn’t even check with their service centre and closed the case. Weirdly, delivery itself was fast and the courier was polite — small surprise in the middle of a mess. One rep tried to help and seemed sincere, so not everyone was useless, but overall the customer service process felt impossible and that’s the worst when you actually need something that works for health stuff.

Quick reply, mixed feelings

the rep replied within a day, actually listened, and walked me through the next steps. For a second I thought okay, this will be sorted. Then reality set in. My Suunto 9 Baro — I used it for runs, long hikes and wore it most nights for sleep tracking — stopped giving altitude and pressure after about three years. No knocks, no heavy use. It just stopped. I kept hoping it was a software glitch. It wasn’t. They say the pressure sensor failed. Staff were polite and fast. That part was good, honestly. But their options felt weak. Pay about $120 for a repair that only has a three‑month warranty, or pay for diagnostics and shipping and end up with a useless watch. If it had been abused, sure, charge me. This felt like a production fault. I paid roughly $500 for something I relied on daily. It’s disappointing. Not furious, just annoyed and a bit let down. Losing barometer and sleep data during training and weekend trips is annoying, it adds up. The moment I was satisfied was when someone actually took the time to explain things — clear, human communication — but satisfaction stopped there. They need to own flaky sensors or offer a fairer fix to make me recommend them.

Small worry, big relief

I almost talked myself out of buying this watch a few times — it’s not cheap, and I’d had a flaky tracker before, so yeah, I was nervous. I needed something reliable for daily walks and the gentle exercises my physio gave me for my bad back, plus some decent GPS for weekend hikes. First few days I kept checking it like a nervous person, and then it hiccuped once (froze during a short walk). I thought, here we go again, but the whole thing turned out better than I expected. I reached out to customer support and, after a short back-and-forth, they offered a quick replacement and helpful tips to avoid the freeze (simple reset, firmware update — the usual little things). The replacement arrived faster than I thought and knock on wood, it’s been steady since. Battery life surprised me for real — lasted longer between charges than the specs implied — and the strap is actually comfy, which I didn’t think mattered until it did. GPS is solid on trails, and the activity tracking is easy to live with; no weird spikes or nonsense. Do I still wish the first unit hadn’t had a bump? Sure. But overall, my doubts faded fast once the company acted and the second unit delivered. Pleasantly surprised, honestly. If you’re like me — cautious, recovering from an injury, wanting dependable tracking — this ended up being a good pick. Small hiccup, but a good finish.

Not great for serious swim tracking — buyer beware
17 reviews
this watch didn’t cut it for me when I needed accurate swim/GPS tracking, and that’s the whole point of buying a sport watch, right? I bought it thinking I’d stepped up from casual lap counting to something that would actually record my open-water swims and rides properly. Turns out, not so much. The first clear sign was that my GPS was all over the place — zigzag lines on my swim routes, nonsense distances — so for training that relies on pace and distance, it was basically useless. I felt pretty stupid when it failed me during my first triathlon; you rely on the data and then nothing. Not cheap, either, so yeah, annoyed.
