Strange experience, but it worked out
Strange experience, but it worked out
Returns & RefundsI almost didn’t buy from that site. It felt like a discount dump. I needed a spare day bag for commuting and short hikes. So I took a chance. The bag arrived with a tear, one strap missing and dirt inside. Not great. I sent photos when customer service asked. I followed their return instructions and mailed it back. They emailed that the return arrived and that the refund was processing. Then silence. Ten days later I asked about my money and was told I’d only get store credit because the bag was “used and dirty” and missing a strap. That was the state it came in. I pushed back, sent the photos again, asked for a supervisor. Eventually they agreed to a full refund. It took persistence. The fix felt slow and messy. Communication was inconsistent. Someone didn’t make notes. Still, I did get my money back and that eased the worry I had before buying. The bag itself was fine in style and size for daily use. Overall I’m cautiously satisfied. I’d buy again only if I’m ready to follow up closely.

Returns & Refunds
the store credit didn’t show up in my account anywhere. Nada. I asked about that and the guy on the line cheerfully told me I’d only see it once I made another purchase. Great — so I’d have to spend more money to see money I’d already returned? That’s the kind of logic that makes you laugh and then sigh. After a couple more calls and one “oops, we did the reversal wrong,” they promised to process it correctly and that it would show up on my card in 3–5 business days.
The moment I knew I was actually satisfied was when the refund finally posted to my credit card. I remember leaning back, muttering “about time,” and feeling this weird little relief — not victory, just relief. It wasn’t perfect: the back-and-forth, the fuzzy account credit, the extra fees they tried to attach — all that left a sour taste. But the money ended up where it belonged, and the staff finally fixed it. I’ve had smoother returns with other retailers (big-name places where the return process is basically painless), so this was slower and clunkier. Still, the endpoint mattered more than the detours this time.
Would I recommend them? With a caveat: if you buy multiple items, double-check shipping charges and be ready to call. If you’re patient and persistent, you’ll probably get a fair result — it just might take a little nagging.
Helmet return issue
Helmet return issue
Returns & RefundsI'm really upset about the refund delay for the helmet I returned. The website promised a refund within 1-3 business days, but it's been 21 days already and still no refund. I've sent several emails but haven't heard back, and I'm feeling really frustrated and disappointed with the service I've received.
Winter jacket purchase
Winter jacket purchase
Returns & RefundsI just picked up a winter jacket from this store, and it was alright overall. Ordering it went smoothly and it got to me on time as expected. However, I had a bit of a problem with the pricing when I had to do a return. I got in touch with customer service, and they did eventually fix it, but it took some work on my part to get it all straightened out. It was annoying to deal with, but at least they shipped quickly and managed to sort everything out in the end.
Ski pants not shipped
Ski pants not shipped
Returns & RefundsI bought a pair of ski pants from here, but they never got delivered to me. I waited for 10 days, then got a message saying my "return" was done, and I got a refund on PayPal for the pants. But what about the $75 USD I paid for international shipping that I didn't get back? It seems like I got ripped off on those fees for something I never even got.
Wrong size swimsuit
Wrong size swimsuit
Returns & RefundsI ordered a swimsuit for a weekend trip but got the wrong size. It was a hassle printing the return label and finding a UPS store. I missed out on having the swimsuit for my trip. Customer service offered a free replacement, but what good is that if it doesn't arrive on time?
