Dodgy rewards

Price

Pretty disappointed — the reward didn't match my finish, I expected a €30 card and got a €7 one. Feels like a bait-and-switch. Interface was slick though, so weirdly promising. I hope they sort it out.

Rough ride with season cards

Price

I'd say don't trust this at first — then again, it's not totally ruined. I bought a big stack of new-season cards for my tournament deck and to flip for cash, CEO changed rules mid-stream and values dropped. Support gave partial credits, so I'm annoyed but oddly relieved.

Still playable, but shaky

Price

Right in the middle of a match day, when I'd been playing for a couple of years, I noticed the roster I’d built just felt flimsy. I started with decent expectations, fun concept, nice UI, cards that looked good and actually felt usable — for a while that was true. Lately they keep minting new cards so often it waters down value, and a rules update made some of my older cards barely see play. Still, I'm glad I gave it a shot; parts of it work well, but don't be surprised if it feels unstable sometimes.

Fun enough, but old cards lose value

Price

older cards get bumped to "classic" and honestly they feel kinda sidelined, there's not much to do with them now. I told my sister about it and she's hooked. So yeah, enjoy it, but don't go overboard buying cards.

Rough take on Sorare

Price

buy a card, put it in a squad, watch scores and markets move. The interface is clean enough and navigating the marketplace doesn’t feel painful, but there’s this persistent sense that the rules aren’t public‑facing. My first impression was: useful tech, questionable incentives. It’s not scammy, more like a slick shop that nudges you to keep buying. The cards themselves feel... tangible enough as NFTs, they load fine, transfers are quick so delivery of a buy is rarely an issue. Pricing is the annoying bit — decent players rarely drop below about £30 and prices often seem influenced by the platform, not just basic supply and demand. I’ve seen young users (kids using a parent’s account) get roped into bids because it’s so easy to click and chase a “must‑have” card. In practice, if you’ve got spare cash and want a clean NFT marketplace for the cards they issue, it works and it’s actually pretty reliable. If you’re treating it like a hobby, fine; if you’re expecting investment returns or a fair playground for fantasy, be cautious. Best time I’ve found to buy is the off‑season or when there’s no major tournament — prices settle a bit then. All in all: solid platform, with some practices that make me uneasy. Not perfect, but usable if you know what you’re getting into and don’t let it turn into an endless spending loop.

Not worth big bets

Price

I wouldn't put serious money into this platform anymore. I used to enjoy it and I paid a lot, but repeated rule changes and the way they handled early investors made those purchases feel pointless. I spent thousands on cards and specifically put over a grand into the so-called legend league just to be competitive, only to see the format shift and the league effectively vanish next season. That left me with cards I can't use the way I expected. What bothered me most was the feeling that cards were oversold every season so value diluted, and updates seemed designed to push players to rebuy rather than protect existing owners. Customer support replies sound polite but solved nothing for me; promises were made in messages and then ignored in practice. I tried to ask for a refund or at least some compensation when functionality disappeared, but nothing meaningful came from those conversations. The game used to be fun and felt like an investment for committed players. Now it feels like chasing a moving target where past choices are devalued. If you like taking risks and can accept that your collection might become unusable next season, be my guest. If you care about protecting the money you put in, I would be cautious. My brother and I loved building teams in the early years; there's real disappointment here, not just frustration. My advice to new players is to start small, treat this as entertainment rather than an asset, and don't assume any card will keep its usefulness. I don't want to be dramatic, but I also can't pretend this was a good financial experience. Hope they fix the transparency and start valuing longtime users, because that would change the whole picture. I'd really like them to publish a clear roadmap, engage with veterans honestly, and consider compensating people who lost key functionality; that would at least show they care. Right now I'm disappointed and cautious moving forward.
