EltaMD products
I recently checked out SkinStore and I was happy to see that they offer EltaMD products at really good prices. Their website was easy to navigate and the whole buying process was simple. It was a nice surprise to not have to pay for shipping. But I was a bit let down by the fact that they didn't have a wide range of products to choose from, especially missing sunscreen for eyelids and the option of sunscreen in jars.
Assistance with placing an order
I just contacted customer service for some help placing an order, and I gotta say, the person I talked to was super helpful and knew their stuff. They told me a salesperson would be in touch soon to confirm everything for my purchase. I was really happy with how quickly they got back to me and that they reassured me my order would be taken care of smoothly. It felt good knowing I had a pro helping me through it all.
Email receipt with tax included
The email receipt threw me off with the tax included. When I looked at the price breakdown and saw the tax added on, I thought I was being charged extra compared to what was shown on the website. It made the checkout process kind of weird and not as simple as I thought it would be.

Ordering was easy peasy, but the checkout process was kinda lacking. I just updated my address and unfortunately, I couldn't double-check if it was right before I placed my order. It would have been nice to have that option to make sure everything was good before I finished buying. Even though there was that little issue, the shopping experience in general was pretty simple.

There’s always some coupon kicking around to save you a few bucks. Plus, the delivery is super quick, making my skincare shopping so easy.
Discount code not working
So, I had this discount code that wouldn't work for the item I wanted to buy. But then Belinda stepped in and manually entered the discount for me. She was super nice and really helped me out! It was awesome customer service, eh?
First Order Over $1K
So I just bought a bunch of stuff from SkinStore for over $1k, but the whole process was kinda meh. When I went to pay, I couldn't find anywhere to put in the discount code I got in my email. I tried to contact customer service, but it was Saturday night so no luck there. It was annoying and disappointing that they couldn't work with me on it. My friend recommended SkinStore to me, so I was really expecting a better experience.
Flexible tongue scrapers purchase
I was looking for some flexible tongue scrapers and I found them on their website. But I was kinda disappointed because the shipping cost was actually more than what I paid for the item itself. Made the whole purchase way pricier than I thought it would be.
Missing Items in Order
This is the second time I've had missing items in my order from SkinStore. Last time, they forgot the ampules and just gave me a refund. Now, I got two cheap bags instead of the bag and perfume set I wanted. When I told them about it, they said both items were sent. Clearly, they're not being honest and I won't be using their services again! Be cautious when ordering from SkinStore, eh!
