I’m relieved it didn’t stay a complete disaster, though the whole thing could’ve been handled way better. I’d been buying this cleanser for years because my skin is picky — eczema and sensitive redness, so I really needed something that behaved. Then they quietly changed the formula and my face basically protested: rash, little breakouts, and a burning feeling that wouldn’t quit. I only found out about the switch from their Facebook group — not from an email or a label note — after a bunch of people started complaining. The company popped in belatedly, said they’d do a limited run of the old formula, and promised updates. A month later they released one of the two cleansers as “limited” and a lot of folks were done and looking elsewhere; some even got banned from the group for speaking up. I emailed customer service and heard nothing. Weirdly, I did manage to grab a bottle of the old formula in that limited drop, so I’m thankful for that — it calmed my skin back down. Still, I’m left irritated by the silence and the way they handled customers. Would I recommend them blindly? No. But the product itself (old formula) did work for me, thankfully.
