Instore makeup appointment
My time at the makeup appointment didn't go as I had hoped. I asked for a natural eyeshadow look, but I ended up with something heavy and dark that wasn't what I wanted at all. The foundation they picked was too dark for me, which made me feel uneasy and insecure. On top of that, I had an allergic reaction to one of the products used on my eyes, and it left me uncomfortable for days. When I contacted customer service about my issues, I felt like they didn't really listen or care. In the end, I left the appointment feeling unhappy and annoyed.
Black card purchase
I bought a black card online from this company not too long ago. But, after I placed my order, I didn't get any confirmation or order number. I tried reaching out to their customer service through the phone and chat right away. Unfortunately, no one could help me out or give me any answers. It was super frustrating and disappointing not getting any support or communication from their online system. I suggest people avoid using their website and just go to the store to make purchases instead.
Recent Mac product purchase
I bought something from Mac and the customer service was terrible. I got the item, saw it was pretty much the same as something I already had, so I tried to return it. But when I went back to the store less than a day later, they said no refunds, it's their policy. I called head office and they said go back the next day and insist on a refund, but that didn't sit right with me. The manager wasn't helpful at all and just didn't want to give me my money back. The whole thing just made me feel so annoyed and like I wasn't being supported.
foundation
I ordered foundation earlier this week and it's been a total nightmare, eh? The tracking shows it's been stuck at a distribution centre for days now. The online chat was no help at all, and I was basically told to just sit tight, eh? I'm not impressed with the customer service or the delivery speed, eh.
Purchased loyalty program
The loyalty program at this store is such a letdown, eh. Like, they promise all these cool perks but when you actually try to use them, they're never available. And don't even get me started on the customer service - they have no clue what's going on with the program. I mean, one time I asked about the different levels and the rep didn't even know what I was talking about, didn't even know there was a level called "devoted." And let me tell you, you have to spend a ton of money to reach that level, which sucks when you don't even get the benefits you're supposed to. It was just a really unprofessional experience all around, you know?
New makeup brush and product for rosacea
I went to the store on James Street and received help from a really knowledgeable employee who gave me some great advice on how to cover up my rosacea. I ended up buying a new makeup brush and product. The customer service was excellent and the quality of the products was top-notch.
Face powder purchase
Picked up some face powder at the airport, eh, but it was all stale and nasty. Asked customer service for help because I've been traveling around Europe for over six months, but they wouldn't budge. Should've let me swap it at a store, but nope, not gonna happen. Been loyal to this brand for over thirty years, but that's it for me now. Sent multiple emails to customer service, but all I get back is the same useless response, eh.
Wedding makeup
I just got my makeup done at this place by Ryan for a wedding, and let me tell you, it was amazing! Not only did he do a great job, but everyone at the wedding kept asking me where I got my makeup done. The whole experience was super nice, and I can't wait to book again for my mom's birthday and the next time I go out.
Eyeshadow palette
My last trip to the store was not great. The workers were not very friendly and were too busy chatting with each other instead of helping customers. I felt like I was being ignored and had to wait a long time before someone finally came to help me. When I asked for advice on eyeshadow palettes, I got quick and not very useful answers. Also, the store didn't have much stock, so I couldn't find the colors I wanted. In general, there was a clear lack of good customer service and professionalism during my visit.
Lipstick and eyeshadow palette
I got some lipstick and an eyeshadow palette from this place, eh, but I ain't going back again, that's for sure! The stuff was alright, but not great enough to make up for the lousy service I got. Twice I had problems with my order, and when I tried to get help from their customer service, they were so rude and even lied to me! Can you believe it, eh? They've lost my trust and I'm taking my business elsewhere for good. Save yourself the hassle and shop somewhere else, for real!
Studio Fix Fluid
I've been a customer of this company for a long time, and I've noticed that their products just aren't as good as they used to be. The Studio Fix Fluid used to be affordable when I first bought it in 2012, but now the price has more than doubled. It's way too expensive compared to other similar products out there. Getting rid of the back to Mac programme also shows they care more about making money than keeping loyal customers. And don't even get me started on the online order I placed that took forever to arrive. Their service is going downhill fast. I'm really let down by how things are going and I'm thinking about trying out other makeup brands from now on.
Foundation
I just bought some foundation online and it was a really good experience. I was a bit nervous at first because of some bad reviews about slow delivery, but I got my order in just two days. I bought it on a Saturday night and it arrived on Tuesday. The packaging was nice and I even got $10 off. I'm really pleased with my purchase overall.
Lipstick and foundation
My recent order from this company was a real letdown, eh? I ordered a lipstick and foundation ten days ago, hoping to get it in 3-5 days. But I still haven't seen anything, even though the tracking says it's on its way to Bristol. The lack of updates on my delivery is annoying, and the live chat on their site isn't working either. Just really disappointed, eh.
Pink undertone shade
Dina and Mira at the mall were really great. Dina helped me pick out the perfect shade for my pink undertone skin. It's not too dry and works really well with my sensitive skin. I'm loving the makeup, especially the setting spray with rose water.
I got the best makeup at Mac!
Mac is seriously awesome! I went there and the worker helped me find the perfect foundation for my skin. She was so nice too! And the best part is, you can earn points when you sign up for free before buying makeup. It's like getting rewarded for shopping!
Waterproof foundation
I picked up this foundation 'cause I thought it would make me look all glam and trendy like those cool TikTok stars, but man, was I wrong! It didn't even stay on when I got a little sweaty. It barely covered anything, I might as well not have worn any at all. And those emails with the annoying GIFs? Forget about it. Half the time I couldn't even tell what they were trying to sell me.
Mac products
I've been using Mac products for many years now, and let me tell you, I'm really impressed with the variety of colors and the quality. Whether I'm going for a bold nighttime look or a subtle daytime style, Mac has got all the options I need. Their lipsticks are so smooth and feel luxurious on my lips, and don't even get me started on their eye shadows and complexion products like foundation and powder - they're absolute must-haves in my makeup routine.

I treated myself to some new eyeshadows, lipsticks, and foundations at this store and let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised. Although, I do wish they had more budget-friendly options and that some of their foundations didn't change color on my skin over time. Overall, the gorgeous colors and high-quality products, paired with the helpful staff, always make my trips to this store feel super glamorous.
Daughter's makeup session with David

The people working at the store were all really friendly and made the whole experience really positive. We're super impressed with David's skills and the service he provided.

The folks at this shop were just awesome, eh! Tania and Valentina really went above and beyond, treating us like VIPs. They were so nice, helpful, and just super professional. The other store we went to, on the other hand, didn't even acknowledge us. Thanks a bunch, ladies, we'll definitely be back for more!
