I was really let down by the velveteen lip products I bought. The color was watery and I had to put on lots of coats to get the shade I wanted, but it ended up looking thick and gross. The color was completely different from what was shown on the website, the red I got was actually brown. And it's so annoying that they don't provide return postage for customers, it's just not right in this day and age. I wish I never bought from this brand and I won't be buying anything from them again.

Those swatches are totally fake, and they never have any POC models! All they do is post good reviews, and the Velvetines jars are always half empty. Definitely not worth your money.

This brand is honestly my fave for makeup! Like, seriously, I don't get why some folks don't dig it. Every time I order from them, it's all good. The lipsticks are the bomb, they last ages and feel amazing on my lips. And can we talk about the packaging? So pretty! And on top of all that, they're cruelty-free, which makes me feel even better about using their stuff.

The ordering process was so smooth and my stuff got here real quick, like just two days later! The packaging was just gorgeous, with bright colours and a design that really catches your eye. The Diamond Dew eyeshadow is a really pretty colour and the bottle it comes in is super cute. The only thing is that it's not waterproof, which would be awesome for those hot days in the sun.

The Venus palettes are so amazing, I can't even believe it! The colours are super rich and pigmented, making it a breeze to create some really stunning looks. And can we talk about the packaging? It's gorgeous and adds a touch of luxury to my makeup collection. But, I did have a little problem with the mirror on the Venus II palette. It actually broke after just a week of using it. I gotta admit, I wasn't exactly careful with it - kinda tossed it around in my bag, so it's partly my fault too. I haven't tried the velvetines yet, but I've heard some mixed reviews. Some people say the formula is a bit drying on the lips, which worries me because my lips are already dry as it is. Despite that, I really do love the Venus palettes and would totally recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality eyeshadows.
