Pre-sale item disappointment
I just bought something from this store thinking they had it in stock, but turns out it was actually on pre-sale. I was pretty annoyed when I found out they couldn't cancel it right away, and the only choice was to return it later. Wish I had checked the reviews beforehand. This whole thing was a letdown and made me feel like I got tricked.
Band t-shirts
I went to the store the other day to get some band t-shirts and it was a pretty good experience. The staff there was nice and really helped me out, which made it easier to find what I wanted. The only thing was that the music was so loud, it was hard to focus on looking at the stuff. But the shirts I got were really nice quality, so I was happy with what I got.
A bunch of cool stuff
Hot Topic is so frustrating, eh? They delete negative reviews and change orders without even asking us first. It's just not right! We should be able to share our opinions and they shouldn't be messing with our orders like that. Let's show some love to local artists, they're the ones doing it right.
Clothing and accessories
I recently bought some clothes and accessories from the store and I gotta say, I was pretty let down by the whole thing. When I placed my order, I was super surprised to see the crazy high shipping fees to Canada, especially since they didn't mention them until after I confirmed my purchase. I tried right away to cancel my order because those shipping costs were just way too much, but they told me I couldn't change or cancel it once it was placed. Even though they hadn't sent out my stuff or taken my money yet, I couldn't do anything about it. It was really annoying how they weren't clear about the fees and wouldn't work with me at all. Plus, I found a bunch of bad reviews online for the store afterwards. So yeah, I definitely won't be shopping there again.
Funky tees, bummer experience
I wanted to buy some really cool t-shirts from this store, but every time I tried they ended up cancelling my order! Not cool, eh! And now they're saying my stuff is either out of stock or on "backorder". I emailed them and gave them my order numbers, but still no response. I'm really disappointed with this whole situation. I don't think I'll be shopping here again, that's for sure.
T-shirt and hoodie
Hey, just a friendly heads up - be cautious when it comes to those flashy discounts at Hot Topic. It seems like they aren't actually honoring the sale prices or extra percentages off that they advertise. Even though your cart shows the discounted price, when you go to pay, they end up charging you the original full price. And when you reach out to customer service, they just give you the runaround, saying they'll fix it in a couple of days - but don't be fooled, make sure to double-check your bank statements. I recently called them for help and was left on hold for a whopping 15 minutes, only to be left with no resolution in sight.

I just bought a band t-shirt from this store and I was really happy with the quality and the selection they have. They have a lot of different stuff for all kinds of different groups of people, which is awesome because it means you can find really cool and different clothing and accessories. The people who work there were super nice and helpful, which made the whole shopping trip really fun. I'll definitely go back there the next time I need to buy some new clothes.

I bought this awesome black band shirt online, but when it came, it was the wrong size. I was really disappointed! I called customer service, but they just made a note on my account and said they couldn't help because it might cost them money. Seriously?! I'm just a kid trying to show my support for my favorite band, come on!
