T-shirt and stickers
I had such a frustrating time shopping online at Hot Topic. When I tried to check out, I kept getting error messages. Even though I made sure to enter all my order details right, I still got a message saying, "We couldn't process your order. Double-check your info and try again." After looking at my bank statement, I realized that I got charged for each failed attempt. It really bummed me out and left me feeling let down. I'd recommend others to just go into the store to avoid dealing with the same problems.
Funky graphic tees
You know what? Hot Topic had me thinking I was going to be so cool with their awesome graphic tees. But you know what happened? I waited forever, and my order never showed up! I felt totally ripped off and had to argue with my credit card company to get my money back. Hot Topic? More like Not Topic! Trust me, avoid this site at all costs.

I went to the store the other day and gotta say, the customer service was top-notch! This guy Juno was super helpful and friendly. He really made my shopping experience that much better. The store had a bunch of stuff to choose from and with Juno's help, I found exactly what I needed quickly. I'll definitely be coming back here next time I need something.
Graphic tees and band merchandise
Can you believe we're still dealing with slow websites in 2021? And let's not even get started on the payment process! Matching addresses with bank cards shouldn't be this difficult. And why is it so complicated to place pre-orders? It feels like they're purposely making things hard for us customers. And why all the back and forth with order problems? Having to deal with UPS for a missing lip gloss is just crazy. It feels like there's no customer service at all, and this whole experience has been a total nightmare. I'm definitely not going through this again.

Oh my goodness, Hot Topic is seriously the best store ever! They have the most awesome stuff like band t-shirts and amazing accessories. I always discover epic things that really represent my style and personality. The staff there are really friendly and always help me find exactly what I need. And their selection of pop culture merchandise is unmatched, I can never find it anywhere else. I absolutely love shopping at Hot Topic!
In-store pickup order
I just went to the store to grab my online order, and I had a pretty bad experience with one of the managers there. When I tried to ask him about how to pick up my order, he seemed very impatient and annoyed with me. I get that showing ID is needed, but his attitude was not cool. It felt like he was rushing me and being kinda passive-aggressive, which made me feel uneasy and not wanted in the store. Customer service should be friendly and helpful, not unfriendly and rude. All in all, I was not happy with how the manager treated me in this store.

Hey there, just wanted to give you a heads-up for anyone considering shopping online here. The website is a total disaster - I mean, who even created that mess? I tried to buy something and when I clicked "review order" it just kept spinning. I attempted on different devices and browsers, but no success. When I asked for help, they had the nerve to suggest I call in my order. Hold on a second, I'm not comfortable giving my credit card info over the phone, especially to a company with that kind of reputation. Get it together with your website, guys.

They've got a ton of band tees, quirky knick-knacks, and stylish clothes that totally match my vibe. Hoodie order delayed and cancelled
I bought a hoodie from the store recently and man, was I let down by the whole thing. I was told it would come in a month, but it got delayed till May-June without any heads up. When I tried to get in touch about the delay in March, the customer service just gave me a vague answer saying it would come that month. After waiting for a while, I checked the order status only to find out it got cancelled without me knowing on April 23rd. That lack of communication and transparency is not cool, and the customer service I got was not up to par. I asked about a refund but haven't heard back from Hot Topic yet. I'm super disappointed with how they handled this and I won't be ordering from them again. I might even talk to a lawyer if I don't get my money back soon. My trust in Hot Topic is totally gone, and I'll make sure to warn my buddies about shopping on their site in the future.
Cute but overpriced accessories
I really like the stuff they have for artists, but I think the quality could be better considering how much they cost. A lot of the accessories seem kind of cheap, and the jewelry doesn't last very long. I've found similar things somewhere else for way less money.

I went to the store and the worker, let's call her J, was amazing! She was really nice and helped me find everything I needed. She even remembered me from last time, which was pretty cool. J let me try on all the clothes I wanted and held them for me while I shopped for more things. She also told me about this awesome rewards program where you can get coupons for future visits! It's like getting free stuff just for shopping – how great is that? I always enjoy coming to this store because of J's excellent service!

I recently bought some clothes and accessories from the store and I gotta say, I was pretty let down by the whole thing. When I placed my order, I was super surprised to see the crazy high shipping fees to Canada, especially since they didn't mention them until after I confirmed my purchase. I tried right away to cancel my order because those shipping costs were just way too much, but they told me I couldn't change or cancel it once it was placed. Even though they hadn't sent out my stuff or taken my money yet, I couldn't do anything about it. It was really annoying how they weren't clear about the fees and wouldn't work with me at all. Plus, I found a bunch of bad reviews online for the store afterwards. So yeah, I definitely won't be shopping there again.
Black sweater with tears
I went into the store and man, I felt terrible because the employee, Elena, was just so rude and pushy! I couldn't believe it! I've been coming to Hot Topic for over twenty years and no one has ever treated me like that before. I tried to use my husband's disabled veteran ID to get a military discount, like I've done at other Hot Topic stores, but Elena told me they only take active duty IDs. I was so mad that I ended up buying a black sweater 'cause it was the only one in my size, but I left with tears in my eyes.
Funky tees, bummer experience
I wanted to buy some really cool t-shirts from this store, but every time I tried they ended up cancelling my order! Not cool, eh! And now they're saying my stuff is either out of stock or on "backorder". I emailed them and gave them my order numbers, but still no response. I'm really disappointed with this whole situation. I don't think I'll be shopping here again, that's for sure.

Hey, just a friendly heads up - be cautious when it comes to those flashy discounts at Hot Topic. It seems like they aren't actually honoring the sale prices or extra percentages off that they advertise. Even though your cart shows the discounted price, when you go to pay, they end up charging you the original full price. And when you reach out to customer service, they just give you the runaround, saying they'll fix it in a couple of days - but don't be fooled, make sure to double-check your bank statements. I recently called them for help and was left on hold for a whopping 15 minutes, only to be left with no resolution in sight.
