okay, temporary glitch, reload. Nope. Tried again, same message, no item in the cart. Kept fiddling, closing tabs, reopening, thinking maybe I’m doing something dumb. Finally it let me add the game and I went to check out — then the site charged me twice. I freaked a bit and backed out; when I looked again my cart had two or three extra items I never added. A $27 buy suddenly looked like a $264 nightmare. Tried editing the cart, buttons ignored me, totals stuck. So yeah, the doubts I had before buying — about the site being clunky and unreliable — didn’t go away, they were confirmed. But I didn’t want to stew all night, so I jumped over to Amazon, bought the same thing in five minutes, and that part was fine. Kinda relieved, honestly. Still annoyed at the other site for the mess and the stress, and I checked my bank just to be safe. Advice to others: don’t trust weird cart behaviour, double-check charges, and if a site acts weird, step away and use somewhere reliable. Glad it worked out in the end, just wish the original checkout hadn’t been such a disaster.
