Lesson learned about “local” shops
Lesson learned about “local” shops
PriceI needed flowers last-minute for my mum’s memorial and thought I’d found a local Edmonton shop online — the site looked right, promised same-day delivery and all that. I paid, breathed out, then about ten minutes later noticed the confirmation was charging me in US dollars (hidden three paragraphs down). I rang and messaged; reps said they wouldn’t adjust or refund the currency difference. The actual bouquet did arrive when they said it would, so delivery was okay, but the whole billing/customer service bit felt shady and sloppy. Felt like a bait-and-switch. Won’t risk it again. If you’re ordering across the border, fine, but if you think it’s a neighbourhood florist, double-check every tiny line — learned the hard way, honestly.
