I’d been really looking forward to this doll (the website photos were lovely) because I wanted something gentle for quiet nights on the couch and an easy prop for the casual photos I take of my niece. When it showed up it honestly just didn’t match the pictures — different face, rough paint, the body felt cheap and unfinished. The hair even shed in clumps the first time I touched it, so that’s a no-go around kids. I complained and they basically shrugged with a small partial refund offer (10–25%) and called the differences “handmade charm.” That felt like a brush-off. Trying to return it turned into a headache — they wanted me to ship it back to a factory overseas at my own expense, no solid tracking, which would cost almost as much as the doll. I ended up disputing the charge with my credit card because I couldn’t see a fair route otherwise. Small silver lining: packaging arrived intact and I learned to dig deeper into real customer photos.
