Not what I expected

Product

I wouldn't buy this doll again. I first saw it on Instagram because a co-worker recommended it and I ordered, thinking it'd be the 0–3 months size they promised. Instead the doll is tiny, more like a Barbie, not the baby-sized doll in the photos. I asked for a refund and they offered only ten percent back. Service was slow and dismissive. Weirdly, the box and little outfit looked nicer than expected — that caught me off guard. Packaging seemed thoughtful though. Still, for the price I can't recommend them.

Almost panicked, then relieved

Communication

Midway through checkout I actually froze — had bad moves and back pain before, so I needed this right away and was worried it was a scam. I emailed support and messaged on Facebook, then crickets for a few days. They first sent a canned reply that made me sigh, but after I pushed a bit a real person sorted out a duplicate hold and confirmed shipment. Kinda messy communication, but in the end the order was fixed and delivered. Glad it worked out, I’ll probably order again.

Small surprise, big letdown

Product

When the box finally showed up I’d already been second-guessing the whole order — the photos had looked too perfect. I convinced myself it might be okay, or that support would help if not. It wasn’t. The doll is clearly cheap, nothing like the pictures, and my kid was gutted. I emailed twice, no answer, and their “insurance” only covers transit so my claim got bounced. Oddly, it was well packaged and even had a tiny spare outfit — nice, but not nearly enough.

Surprisingly comfy little companion

Product

I grabbed this doll because my granddaughter needed something to hold during our cross-country move and honestly because my aching back means I can't be lifting heavy toys all day. First impression — pleasantly surprised. The vinyl skin feels warm and pliable, not plasticky; the cloth body has a nice weight so it drapes like a real baby, which made cuddling easier. Hair's rooted, a bit messy but fixes with fingers, and the outfit is soft and washable. Not flawless — a small glue speck on a seam, but whatever. It calmed my kid right down, and I'm actually really thankful I found it; worth the buy.

Kitchen-table surprise — not great

Product

weight was okay, felt like vinyl or cheap silicone — not the lifelike skin the site promised. The face? Flat, no real eyes, more doll-ish than human-ish. Outfit was missing, shoved in loose, nothing wrapped in foam or plastic, so it rattled around. The website photos look like, honestly, AI-ed up — colours and details that just aren't there. Not a total disaster, it sits steady and the joints move, but if you want a realistic silicone feel, I'd steer clear or at least ask for real photos first.

Braced for the worst, got better

Service

I actually braced for disappointment when the parcel arrived — tried cancelling right after I ordered but didn't hear back, so I was skeptical. The dolls are now part of our evening routine; they help calm the kids before bed and get trotted out during car rides. At first I thought the finish was cheap, but after a week of use they held up fine. Customer service finally replied and sorted a warranty question quickly, which surprised me in a good way. Delivery was quick and the packaging protected them well. Not perfect, but I'm satisfied.

Wrong doll, frustrating return

Returns & Refunds

Not impressed — the product I got wasn't what I paid for, and the return process has been a headache. I opened the box about three weeks after ordering and my first thought was that someone sent the wrong doll. The outfit I paid extra for hangs off her and keeps slipping, and the magnetic pacifier? Doesn't snap in at all. I tried contacting support right away. They've been polite. But every reply drags it out, offering only a tiny refund and suggesting I just keep it because "shipping is expensive." I'm in BC and they say they're in California, so that line felt off. I've been going back and forth for over a month now. On the plus side, the doll's hair is actually nicer than I expected — soft and not matted — and the face paint is kinda sweet, so there was a small surprise. Still, the mismatch and the weak refund offer make this feel like more trouble than it's worth.

Not what I ordered

Product

I almost didn't buy it. Pictures looked a bit off and the price was suspicious, so I had my doubts from the start. I ordered anyway, figured maybe it would be fine. First impression when it arrived was immediate disappointment. The doll wasn't the one in the listing. Cheap fabric, wrong colours, just… not the same. I messaged the seller and got a standard reply, nothing helpful, so I sent photos and emails and waited. No real response until I opened a PayPal case. PayPal gave me my money back, thank goodness, but shipping it back cost me extra. Glad to have the refund, still annoyed though.

save your money on Dollreborns

Product

I wouldn’t order from Dollreborns again — and you might want to skip them too. I’d been really looking forward to this doll (the website photos were lovely) because I wanted something gentle for quiet nights on the couch and an easy prop for the casual photos I take of my niece. When it showed up it honestly just didn’t match the pictures — different face, rough paint, the body felt cheap and unfinished. The hair even shed in clumps the first time I touched it, so that’s a no-go around kids. I complained and they basically shrugged with a small partial refund offer (10–25%) and called the differences “handmade charm.” That felt like a brush-off. Trying to return it turned into a headache — they wanted me to ship it back to a factory overseas at my own expense, no solid tracking, which would cost almost as much as the doll. I ended up disputing the charge with my credit card because I couldn’t see a fair route otherwise. Small silver lining: packaging arrived intact and I learned to dig deeper into real customer photos. Sharing this because I’d hate for a friend to spend time and money on the same disappointing experience — figured a quick, honest heads-up would help.
