Pricethe dress did arrive eventually and, weirdly, it’s actually really nice. Soft fabric, the fit was surprisingly good and I even wore it to a casual Saturday brunch afterwards. Unexpected win there. But the whole buying experience? Not great. FedEx kept sending invoices saying I owed duties, Claudie Pierlot told me I didn’t and that they’d sort it, and then crickets for weeks. I pinged them a few times, got reassurances, then — surprise — debt collectors start knocking. Now I’m worrying about legal notices and my credit score over something that should’ve been simple. So while the dress feels great and gets compliments when I wear it, the hassle around delivery and billing has been a constant nag. If you care about smooth paperwork and peace of mind, keep that in mind. If you just want the dress and don’t mind a headache, well… you decide.
