Durable and easy-to-assemble product
I recently bought this super solid and easy-to-put-together thing from this company and let me tell you, I was pretty darn impressed! The delivery was right on time, and they even split it up so each part showed up on different days, making it super handy. The packaging was top-notch, and the instructions were idiot-proof and a breeze to follow. I even checked out a YouTube video just to be sure, and it was bang on. The thing is made of such sturdy stuff and it's definitely worth every penny. Putting it together was a piece of cake, even "two drunk monkeys" could do it no prob. I give this thing my seal of approval, no doubt about it. Thanks a bunch!
Quick delivery, easy tracking, undamaged package
I gotta say, I was really impressed with how quickly my recent purchase was delivered. It was super easy to keep an eye on my shipment and when it finally arrived, everything was in perfect condition. I usually get pretty nervous about ordering stuff online because of bad experiences in the past, but ordering from Aosom was a breeze. It's been four years since I took a chance on a new company and I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised. I'll definitely be shopping at Aosom again. Thanks a lot.
Order assistance and delivery
I had some issues with my order on the website so I decided to contact customer service for help. The service team was super helpful and quick in fixing the problem. It turns out I accidentally ordered twice, but they were able to sort it out right away. I was happy to see the refund show up on my credit card without any issues. To top it off, my order arrived earlier than expected. I really appreciate the great customer service and fast delivery. Thanks to the team for their hard work!
Camping stove
The camping stove I bought looks really cool, eh? It's made of thick, high-quality metal and has a heavy metal plate on top to keep the heat in for boiling water. But, I took off one star because there's no door gasket, so there's a lot of air leaking around the door and messing with the flame control. Even with that problem, I managed to fix it up by adding my own gasket and flue damper, making it work a whole lot better.
Outdoor patio furniture
I got some new patio furniture for outside and had it shipped to my cottage. They sent it without needing a signature when it arrived, which was good for me because I'm not always around. But the delivery person tried dropping it off twice when no one was there, so your customer service team got in touch with me to figure out a new plan. Finally, I found the package waiting for me when I made it to my cottage.
Sturdy Cat House
My family and I built a really awesome cat house with shelves. Leo seems to be enjoying it, but Oliver is a bit scared of it!
Steel shelving unit
The steel shelving unit I bought was exactly what I needed. The steel is thick at 0.6mm, so it's super sturdy compared to those flimsy 0.3mm ones I've seen. I'm sure it won't rust and will last a good long while. Plus, I can easily rearrange them to fit my storage needs. I was so impressed that I got another one right after the first because of the quality and how versatile it is.
New kitchen table
I just found the perfect kitchen table and I'm loving it! It fits so well in my dining room, and putting it together was a breeze. Surprisingly, it arrived quickly even though it was shipped from another province. I'll definitely be shopping for more furniture from this store in the future. Thanks for the awesome service!
gazebo
The gazebo was extremely hard to assemble do to the fact that the screws and bolts were inferior.They would ... and the bolts that were attached would spind freely.I would not recomend this product from Aosom.The roof panels are extremely flimsy as well.The service and ordering was fine but poor product.
Wicker Patio Furniture Falling Apart After 1 Year
I purchased wicker patio furniture 2 summers ago. After 1 year the wicker started to break. I called the company to have the pieces replaced and they refused to do anything for me. Now I am stuck with $thousand of patio furniture that looks like cheap junk. Not happy with the product or the company.
Gazebo Hard Top
I have never had the need to write a negative review about a company before, but I am so upset over my dealings with AOSOM, I had to post it somewhere as I cannot leave a review on their website now. So here is my experience with AOSOM, I ordered a 10x12 hard top gazebo last July for my cabin.spending over $1700, the reviews indicated the roof panels probably won’t withstand the Canadian winters with the amount of snow we typically get, so i removed the roof panels in October.
This April I re-installed the roof panels and looked forward to the summer and being able to sit outside with the fly nets attached to the gazebo, we get a lot of flies early summer months. In the beginning of June we experienced a storm with strong wind which evidentially 2 panels from 3 sides of the gazebo.
i was 2 weeks trying to get in contact with customer service at AOSOM by phone with no luck, hoping to get replacement panels. Being frustrated I emailed them and asked them to contact Me by phone, they refused to call me and would only correspond via email. After many emails and attempts to have someone call me, I was informed via email that they will do nothing for me and the panels cannot be bought separately, I would have to buy another gazebo for the current sale price of $1100.
i requested to have a supervisor or manager call me and was told, I am outside the 90 day window and they will not help me with my issue.
this is terrible customer service and ignorance at its best, I have a gazebo not even a year old that is garbage and there is nothing I can do to repair it.
never will I ever order from this company again and will attempt to warn other consumers any way I can, i have underwear that lasted longer then this product. this is what happens when you don’t buy local. Hope this saves at least one person from being ripped off.Aosom 2In1 Dog Bicycle Trailer Stroller Pet Carrier with 360 Swivel Wheel Hitch
I bought a PawHut 2-In-1 Dog Bicycle Trailer / Stroller Pet Carrier with 360 Swivel Wheel Hitch Suspension Safety Flag. The wheels would not stay inflated, and it was only used once. The next year I bought a new one instead of trying to fix the first one. I ordered three times and finally got one where the wheels would stay inflated. Just went to take the dogs out for the 1st time and again wheels are deflated. Never even got to use. Because its over the 30 day policy, there is nothing they will do. I even asked the CSR if there was anything at all, she or the parts department could do. I couldn't even get a 'no' just a 'nahhh'. Very rude and condescending as well. I usually try to support smaller businesses and have purchased much from this company. But this was the final straw. My purchases will be made from Amazon from now on.
Aosom Greenhouses
Last December my wife and I bought two “Aosom” greenhouses: a small clear plastic 8' x 10' and a large white plastic 10' x 15'. The small "Aosom" greenhouse was bought through Loblaws. The large greenhouse was bought directly from Aosom. We installed them around the beginning of May. I had to do some modifications to the units. I enumerate them below.
Cut windows (with Velcro to close them) to let the wind go through. Otherwise the wind was bending it out of shape.
Tack down the base rods with pegs to stop the wind from lifting the unit off the ground.
Put guy ropes on. All these things to prevent the greenhouse from becoming too consorted by the wind.
Tape (yes, duct tape) several of the plastic joints which were beginning to split.
The large 10' x 15' greenhouse:
Tack down the base rods with pegs.
Put on heavier guy lines than those supplied.
Use heavier pegs to hold the guy lines.
I was impressed with the construction of the large greenhouse which uses an aluminum structure instead of plastic.
Then came the storm on May 21. Surprisingly the small greenhouse withstood the storm with no damage to it. However the large greenhouse, which I thought would have held up better than the small one did not hold up at all. It collapsed! Most of the aluminum rods were bent out of shape. Surprisingly the greenhouse white plastic covering stayed intact.
I emailed Aosom and asked if I could take back the damaged pieces to them for replacement? Their technical staff could use these parts to evaluate solutions to render their product more durable. Or I could take back the whole frame and have it replaced?
The answer I received was that the unit was guaranteed for 90 days. They apologized for any inconvenience but refused to do anything about the situation.
I replied to Aosom that I had bought the unit in December but had to wait for winter to pass before using the greenhouse. Their response surprised me. They were willing, “as a goodwill gesture” to offer me a 5% discount on a futuer order!!!! Yes 5%!!!
Needless to say I did not take them up on this pitiful offer.
Both greenhouses are now completly useless. I have no frame for the large greenhouse and the small one has so many rips, mostly along the seem lines, that it is not useable. And the joints in the frame are coming apart.
Would you actually think of buying Aosom product afer this debacle?pet stroller
I bought a pet stroller in January and it has performed very well so far, and I will continue to observe it in the future.
ottoman
I bought a 240$ ottoman from them and after one month it started falling appart, screws fell, and fabric ripped. I contacted them after 4 months from purchase since I was very busy and I know it is a 1 year warranty, but they refused to help or change it which I find very greedy and consider them thieves. I am disappointed, I will never buy from them.
SunLounger
Item arrived late and damaged. Lounger would not even unfold. Rust spots and scratches. Was told if I got it fixed locally(at MY EXPENSE) they would give a $13 dollar discount. Utter disgrace.
Canopy swing
Sudden windstorm caused the canopy locking screws to snap when swing was only a few months old. Customer service reps were polite and courteous but company does not stock parts. Buyers beware.....your purchase may become useless if something breaks unexpectedly!
Patio umbrella
Bought a patio umbrella back in April. It doesn't stand straight. Keeps tilting sideways. Unsure this is normal. Tried many times to reach customer service, in vain. I don't recommend this company.
