Expensive book order issue

Communication

I bought this pricey book from this company and ran into a annoying problem with my order. Didn't see any charges on my card after placing the order, so I got worried about my payment. I tried reaching out to their customer service via email and calls right away, but got no response from anyone. Their lack of communication and support got me feeling irritated and stuck. I was hoping for a smooth and professional experience buying straight from the source, but it didn't turn out that way.

Expensive book from a publisher

Communication

So, I'm a grad student and I needed this specific book, right? Well, I ordered it from this one publisher, but then I figured out I could just get it online. I tried to cancel my order, emailed and called customer service, but no luck. They were totally unresponsive, no help at all. They said my order was already on its way and couldn't be cancelled. I was so frustrated and let down by their lack of support. It's really disappointing to see a company treat their customers like that, making us feel ignored. Next time, I'll think twice before ordering from them again.
