Raid of Shadow Legends - Reviews and experiences

So there I was, stuck on the couch after a bad back tweak and figured I'd try the game as a pass-time. At first I assumed it was all pay-to-win — the matches felt uneven and some bots were absurd — but after a few sessions the controls felt crisp, progression isn't instant but it grows on you. Support lagged, price felt high, yet it actually kept me playing.

I've been playing multiplayer games since the ASCII and ANSI days. Recently, I discovered a rule in a game where the Master can't be defeated by anyone or their support. An 11-week player won a major forum prize and received a bigger reward than anyone else in the game. They were given the Master spot and then disappeared.
