Misleading wine substitution
I just bought a hamper for my mum's birthday, and it was supposed to have a sauvignon blanc and malbec. But when it arrived, there was a rose wine instead of the sauvignon blanc. I contacted customer service and they said there was a stock problem, so they made the switch without telling me. I'm not happy about this at all. If I had known, I would have cancelled the order. Now I have a bottle of wine that my mum won't even drink, what a waste of money! This whole thing has been a letdown, and I won't be buying from them again.
Mother's Day gift delivery
Hey everyone, I just wanted to share a little story about my recent Mother's Day gift purchase for my mom. So I ordered a gift and paid extra for next day delivery. Unfortunately, the package ended up at the wrong address. I had to buy a second gift to make sure I had something for Mother's Day. I contacted customer service, and they said they'd send a replacement, even though I had already bought another gift. They didn't offer a refund, so I had to ask for one for the next day delivery myself. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with the whole experience, and I probably won't be ordering from them again.
Afternoon tea scone hamper
The afternoon tea scone hamper seemed so tasty at first, but it really didn't live up to my expectations when it came to value. There was only one scone per person in the hamper, plus some basic store-bought biscuits. I realized that buying these items separately would have been way cheaper than the hamper. But I have to admit, the jam that came with it was absolutely delicious.
Damaged hamper replacement
The basket I ordered came in all banged up, but this guy Seve from customer service was amazing. He sorted out a replacement real quick, and I was so thankful for that. Seve's speed and willingness made what could've been a bad situation way better, and I'm really appreciative of his top-notch service. Even though there was a little bump at the start, I'm happy with how everything got sorted out.
