Started skeptical, turned okay

QualitySigned up last December for the Backyard Meteorology course and at first I was ready to call it a rip-off — thin slides and basic quizzes. After the clouds module and a quick support reply I'm fairly satisfied.
Coworker tipped me off
Coworker tipped me off
QualityI stumbled on edX after a coworker pushed it on me — wasn't expecting much, but the hands-on assignments and clear feedback actually surprised me. I audited a course, learnt practical tips and tools, and even the forums were helpful. Worth the time, I guess.

Qualitythe content felt ancient, like someone uploaded lectures from 2014 and forgot about them. Some concepts were fine, but a lot is out of date and you can tell it wasn't refreshed for new tools or practices. The platform itself was clunky — quizzes would ask the same question twice with different correct answers, or mark a correct response as wrong until you hit "show answer" (which then magically shows your original choice as right). Also, if you answered a quiz, switched tabs for a minute, then came back, the system sometimes "unanswered" stuff so you ended up wasting attempts fixing things you already did. I tried to contact support to report the glitches and there was basically crickets — course instructors long gone, no real help from edX either. A couple lessons were useful, but overall I wouldn't trust this for professional development. If you're curious, audit for free first. Don't pay for certs here unless you're okay gambling with outdated material and buggy tech.
Solid content, messy delivery — still worth a shot

Qualitythe curriculum is the real deal, but getting there can be a bit of a slog. The bootcamp teaches the concepts you actually need in cybersecurity — good breadth, up-to-date topics, and useful theory — so if your primary goal is to learn the material, you’ll get value. That said, the way the course is run doesn't always match that promise, and you'll need patience for the rough edges.

QualityI've been using online education platforms for a while now, and I have to say, I'm really impressed with the selection and quality of courses available on this platform. They're not just from top-notch institutions, but they also offer qualifications that can really boost your knowledge and skills. Personally, I've always wanted to study at prestigious universities like Harvard and Cambridge, and thanks to this platform, I've been able to get a taste of their teaching styles without actually being on campus. The customer service is also amazing - the staff are super friendly and always ready to help with any questions or problems. All in all, I'm thankful for the chance to learn and develop through this platform.

QualityOMG, this course was the absolute worst! The management was so bad, the materials were terrible, and the instructor seemed lost half the time. And technology issues? Don't even get me started - it was a complete nightmare trying to access anything for class! It felt like I was in the Hunger Games just trying to make it through each day of this course. Definitely didn't help with exams or getting a job. I had to take other courses just to actually learn something useful. Wish I had known what a disaster this course would be before I wasted my money on it.

QualityI really loved taking the online courses! Being able to work at my own speed and get certificates without having to pay monthly fees is amazing. The teachers are really great and the discussion boards make learning even better.
TOEFL certification course
TOEFL certification course
QualityI've been taking the TOEFL certification course and boy, has it been a game-changer in my educational journey! The website is so easy to use and the content is top-notch, really helping me level up my language skills. And get this: it's all free, which is amazing because it means anyone can access quality education. The way the course is laid out and the materials provided are super organized, making it a breeze to work through the lessons and see real progress.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
QualityMy experience with the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification was really good. The course was well laid out and they reminded us when to come back for different class categories. The exercises and tests after each section helped a lot to reinforce what we learned. They stressed the importance of taking notes to really understand the material. I liked that I could finish the course within a certain time frame that worked for me.
Online course purchase
Online course purchase
QualityI bought this course and I gotta say, it was a letdown. The teacher seemed totally unprepared and didn't really know their stuff well enough to teach it properly. Plus, not having a textbook to go along with the lessons was a big downside for me - I like having something physical to look at when I'm studying. And I found it kind of annoying that the course kept sending us to other places for information instead of just giving us everything we needed right there.
