Back for a look, still mixed feelings
Back for a look, still mixed feelings
Communicationthe branding still carries weight, and yes, some courses look genuinely solid on paper, but the actual experience was uneven. Enrolling was simple enough, though a few pages felt cluttered and I had to click through extra screens to confirm things I already thought were set — little friction, but annoying when you're just trying to get on with learning. The content itself loads okay most of the time, but I hit a couple of broken video links and one quiz that wouldn't submit on my first try. That’s where delivery becomes more than a buzzword: if the course materials and assessments aren’t reliably accessible, it wastes the time you planned for learning. Customer service was the real sore point. I opened a ticket, expecting a quick “we're on it” or at least an estimate for a fix. Instead I got a templated reply that didn’t address the specifics, and a follow-up only after several reminders. Not terrible, but definitely not what I'd call helpful — felt like talking to a bot who didn't read the whole message. On the plus side, when a human did finally respond they were polite and apologetic; just too slow and a bit too scripted. Price-wise, it’s mid-range: not the cheapest, and some paid tracks feel like they should include more — clearer learning paths, better checkpoints — for what they charge. I do appreciate that some instructors are clearly knowledgeable and that the certificates have recognised names attached, which matters if you care about credentials. Emotionally I was a bit annoyed — partly because I really wanted it to be better this time — and a little nostalgic for the promise of flexible learning. Bottom line: it’s useful, but only if you go in with tempered expectations. If delivery reliability and responsive support are deal-breakers for you, this might frustrate you. If you can tolerate occasional hiccups and value the network of affiliated institutions, you’ll find things of value. I hope they tighten up the tech and customer response times — that would make a big difference.
Chat for course questions
Chat for course questions
CommunicationEh, so I was trying to get some info on this course, you know? I went on the chat to ask questions, but the person was taking forever to reply (ugh!) and they were totally useless! Every time I asked something about the Front-End web dev course, they just said "google it." Seriously? If they don't know about the course, then why even have a chat for questions, right? Now I'm not sure about signing up for anything on this platform, especially after reading all the other bad reviews. 😒
Online course experience
Online course experience
CommunicationMy experience with this online course was really frustrating. The labs stopped working for me halfway through, and when I asked for help from customer support, they told me it was a problem on their end. The responses from the staff felt robotic and not very helpful, and they stopped responding altogether, so I didn't get my issues fixed.
